Carly Pearce’s real name is Carly Cristyne Slusser. She was recently on Bunnie XO’s podcast “Dumb Blonde” and spilled a lot of details about her life. She talked about her past relationships . . . her struggles with mental health . . . and a bit about her family history. That’s when her name change came up. Carly said, “My full name is Carly Slusser . . . horrible name for a country singer. And my middle name is Cristyne, so for a long time, it was Carly Cristyne.” But apparently that didn’t stick for long. Her mother’s maiden name was Pearce, and that her grandparents shaped her love of country music . . . so that’s how it became Carly Pearce.
Lana Del Rey has been circling country music for years, but it looks like 2026 will finally be the moment she makes her entrance. Lana revealed that her country album is officially titled “Stove” and it’s expected in January. She says the project took longer because she added six autobiographical songs that pushed the record in a more personal direction. Lana admitted she’s been considering this move for a long time: “Eight years ago, when I was looking to make a country record, no one else was thinking about country. Now everyone is going country!”
