Cracker Barrel is taking all kinds of heat lately. They recently started renovating their stores away from an old-timey look to something a lot more modern. And then they unveiled their new logo. And so many people hate it, that it’s been dominating the internet. But before all this backlash happened, Jordan Davis filmed a commercial for them. So, the big question now is, “I wonder if he’s regretting that decision?” In the commercial, Jordan says, “Cracker Barrel’s all about MORE.” But to be fair, the new logo is a lot LESS.
Zach Bryan is joining Matthew McConaughey on his upcoming book tour. The Oscar winner is launching a book tour for his new project, “Poems & Prayers”, which is being released on September 16th. It’s focused on faith, reflection, and spiritual storytelling. Each stop of the tour will feature live music and spoken word . . . and Matthew will bring out a famous artist for each new city. And for the Tulsa, Oklahoma stop, Matthew is bringing out Zach Bryan. Zach got Matthew to star in his 2024 music video for “Nine Ball”. Matthew’s book tour will hit up Brooklyn . . . Nashville . . . Tulsa . . . Los Angeles . . . and Austin. Matthew and Zach will be performing in Tulsa on September 19th.
Awhile back, some eagled-eye Reddit user spotted Post Malone at a café on Google Maps . . . in Paris, France of all places. Which is hilarious because most people would be unrecognizable on Google Maps with those grainy photos. Not Post Malone, though. But with his signature tattoos and cowboy clothing, he really can’t hide anywhere.
If you haven’t seen Miranda Lambert and Chris Stapleton’s new music video for “A Song to Sing” . . . you need to check it out. It’s serving up a serious dose of ’70s nostalgia. They filmed it inside Brentwood Skate Center, just south of Nashville . . . and they’re dressed in matching suits while roller-skaters circle around them. Miranda is channeling Dolly Parton by wearing a pair of her gold hoop earrings, while Chris is wearing a lion necklace from Kenny Rogers’ estate. Even Chris’ wife, Morgane Stapleton, makes a cameo in a sparkling gold pantsuit. “A Song to Sing” has already done really well on the charts, too. It was the biggest streaming debut of Miranda’s career, with more than 3.3 million U.S. streams in its first week.
