A couple in the crowd handed him a folded-up piece of paper with the answer on it, but he opened it backwards . . . and accidentally flashed the answer to the whole crowd first. Everyone screamed in horror for a moment until he realized and flipped it over quickly. He said, “I messed that up . . . If you didn’t see it. It’s a girl! Congratulations, Kelsey and Dalton!” The happy parents even got a backstage meet-and-greet after the show.
Luke Bryan could probably play 365 shows a year if he wanted. But instead, he’s prioritizing his family. Specifically on Fridays. He was asked about his two sons Bo, who’s 17, and Tate, who’s 15 . . . and here’s what he said, “Bo is playing high school football. I try to take off every Friday to see him play.” It’s not like Luke is hurting for money, so it’s not that big of a deal to miss out on Friday shows . . . But it’s still pretty cool seeing a celebrity put his family first. And by the sounds of it, Luke needs to take that time off if he wants to spend quality time with him. He said, “Bo has been driving, so we don’t see him as much anymore.”
Megan Moroney was just surprised by two fans in her audience when they got engaged in the middle of one of her songs. Ironically, it was a song called “Fix You Too”, which is a break-up song. But it didn’t seem to bother the two lovebirds in the audience. It’s also a slower song, so when the audience started to freak out and scream, Megan mouthed the words, “What just happened?” But then she saw the two fans, and said, “Did they just get engaged?” And then wished them congratulations and continued on with the song.
Brandon Blackstock found a “beautiful and loving” romantic partner in his ex-wife Kelly Clarkson’s former assistant prior to his death. His obituary said, “Brandon, along with his beautiful and loving partner in life and business, Brittney Marie Jones, started building a life, building companies, and working tirelessly to create Headwaters Livestock Auction and what will live on as his legacy, The Valley View Rodeo in Bozeman, Montana.” Blackstock died last Thursday after a private battle with melanoma. He was 48 years old.
