EA Sports is releasing its new Madden game next week, and in preparation for the new game, they released the official soundtrack yesterday . . . and it has a lot of country music on it. Here are all the country songs featured:
- “New to Country” by Bailey Zimmerman
- “Outside Dog” and “Tall Tales” by Gavin Adcock
- “Back in the Saddle” by Luke Combs
- “Blink Twice” by Shaboozey featuring Myles Smith
- “Rockstar” by Hardy
Also “Bloodline” by Alex Warren featuring Jelly Roll is on the soundtrack, so we can claim at least half of that song.
Jelly Roll visited the Tennessee Titans and did an amazing job pumping them up. The Titans are about to leave on a ten-day road trip, so Jelly was there explaining his lifestyle of constantly being on the road. Here’s what he said, “There’s a culture being built here. I feel it . . . I believe in y’all man. Take this road [trip] as a chance to get together . . . I love y’all. I’ll be here this season as much as I can, you know I’m travelling the world, but I am Titan’d up every single day.” The team gave him a big round of applause. He also joked that he’s lost 200 pounds and if he loses another 50, he wants a contract with the team. I’m not sure there is a better cheerleader in the world than Jelly. He’ll get you ready to run through a brick wall. And the Titans are gonna need it. They finished with 3 wins and 14 losses last year. Tied for the worst record in the league.
Luke Combs is thinking about letting his own fans choose which tracks will be on his new album. Here’s said online, “Seriously considering ‘crowd sourcing’ my next album . . . Like just put up a bunch of demos and worktapes to see what y’all like best.” He can’t go wrong! If the fans pick all the tracks, then he gets to blame them if no one likes the album. But let’s be real, it’s probably going to be awesome regardless of what they pick. Former NFL player, JJ Watt, had a funny comment on the post that said, “I first read this as ‘seriously considering crowd surfing.'” To which Luke replied, “That’d be all good for nobody.”
Dolly Parton’s new stage show, “Dolly: A True Original Musical”, opens TONIGHT in Nashville, and the Queen of Country has been spending a lot of time with the cast. She even shared a few personal secrets with them. Carrie St. Louis, who plays a version of Dolly in the musical, says she spent nearly every day with her during rehearsals. Then one day, Dolly didn’t show. That’s when the cast got a letter from her, apologizing for missing rehearsal because her husband, Carl Dean, had passed away. But Dolly was back with them after only a few days. She wanted to open up to the cast about Carl so they could capture him correctly. Dolly said Carl was shy but hilarious. Most of the details are being kept under wraps until the musical opens, but Carrie says it’s the most authentic portrayal possible since Dolly oversaw every detail.
Kelly Clarkson continues to prioritize her two children kids River, 11, and Remington, 9, after the death of their father, Brandon Blackstock yesterday. The 48 year old had faced cancer for 3 years. Kelly had filed for divorce from Blackstock, a talent manager, in 2020 after seven years of marriage, and their split was finalized two years later. Though their divorce was acrimonious, and the two were later involved in various legal proceedings, Kelly knew the importance of her children’s relationship with their father. Kelly revealed that he was “ill” in a statement shared this past Wednesday and said she would be postponing her Las Vegas residency in order to be “fully present” for her kids.
