Post Malone has millions of fans, but one fan has taken her obsession way too far. A few days ago, police in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, arrested a 31-year-old woman named Cherish Gomer after she allegedly jumped in front of Posty’s car as he was trying to leave his home. His driver had to swerve to avoid hitting her. Police say Gomer believes she has a spiritual connection with the singer and is “entitled” to be near him. But here’s the kicker, this was not the first time she’s been arrested for stalking Posty. It’s the FIFTH. She’s been arrested multiple times now for trespassing, stalking, and even intoxication at his Raising Cane’s restaurant in Midvale, Utah. This latest arrest comes with felony charges for stalking and violating a court order. The stalker is now being held without bail, and authorities hope to get her into a mental health program for her safety.

A security guard at a Jelly Roll concert recently quit mid-show, because his boss was mad that he helped a man in a wheelchair get a better view of the stage. The security guard’s name is Tony Demaree and he was working security at the North Dakota State Fair when he let a fan in a wheelchair move in front of the barricade. Tony said, “This fella needs to be where he can see.” Then his boss told him he was incompetent, so he tossed his vest and walked off the job right then. The moment has gone viral. And now Tony is finally speaking out about the incident. He said, “My job was to keep that area clear. But if nobody’s complaining, and he’s not in the way . . . why not let him enjoy it? He deserves it.” Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie Xo, has been trying to get in touch with him to thank him personally. Hopefully, this story will have a good ending. Maybe Jelly can hire this nice man as his personal security.
Sudden fame and fortune can be too much for some people to handle. But Megan Moroney said, “To stay grounded and focused, I just surround myself with my family and friends as much as I can. I always have them out on the road with me.” She also said, “I call my mom a lot . . . My mom keeps me sane and grounded. And then I’ve had the same friends that I’ve had since college and even before that. So, it’s just, I feel [like] the same me, even though my life is a lot crazier.” So, if you ever get suddenly rich and famous, the best way to stay grounded is to just call your mom more.
