Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are getting married in Venice this week, and they don’t want gifts.  Instead, they’re making donations to local charities in honor of their guests.

“Bachelor in Paradise” returns July 7th, and it includes both “Golden” contestants and their younger counterparts.  But here’s the kicker:  The Goldens are friskier than the younger ones.  Host Jesse Palmer says, “It’s actually the Goldens who, I think, infused the most energy in the show . . . [they] bring it every single day.” “Like, the parties at the pool in Paradise, it was all Goldens turning it up.  They turned up every day.  Like, the make-out sessions in the pool and the body shots.  It was the Goldens.  I’m telling you.  Just watch.  It was unbelievable.” Another great thing about the Goldens is that they don’t care what anyone thinks of them.  “They’re not using this.  They’re not trying to be influencers after the show’s over. “Like, they’ve lived their life.  They’ve done their thing.  And, you know, they’re just trying to have fun, and they were super excited.”

Celebrities always get asked, who would you want to play you in a movie about your life.  For Jelly Roll – maybe Kevin James. Jelly was recently performing at the Buckeye Country Superfest, and a very special guest star came out to sing with him.  It was “Paul Blart” himself, Kevin James. He was dressed exactly like Jelly . . . the only thing missing for Kevin was the tattoos.   And they did a duet of “Need a Favor” together.  And it was pretty good!

Post Malone was performing “Pour Me a Drink” in Glendale, Arizona on his Big [Butt] Stadium Tour and he was trying to clink his cup with a fan, when he took a tumble off the stage. But he rolled out of it and came up with his drink still upright. He was singing the lines “and I’ve been breaking my back” when he fell off the stage.

Toby Keith is still giving back, even after his passing.  The 21st annual Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic just concluded and they raised $1.4 million for the Toby Keith Foundation which benefits the OK Kids Korral – an organization that provides aid to children and families who are receiving medical care for critical illnesses. In addition to the golf tournament, they also had a silent auction.  A Toby Keith Limited Edition Military Guitar sold for $35,000, and a cowboy hat signed by George Strait went for $7,000. This event has raised $20 million in the 21 years they’ve been running it.

Gretchen Wilson, who is most famous for her song, “Redneck Woman”, is always called upon when someone needs an opinion on rednecks. And she was being interviewed recently and was asked to judge a redneck scorecard.  A score of ONE is not redneck, and a score of TEN is very redneck. Here were her answers:

1.  The first item was a White Claw . . . And she said, “That doesn’t belong on this list.”  That’s a score so low, it doesn’t even qualify.

2.  Boiled peanuts . . . She rated a six.

3.  Matcha Tea . . . She said, “It looks green and gross.  Doesn’t belong on the list.”

4.  Fried pickles . . . She rated a nine.

5.  And last they showed a Tesla Cybertruck, and Gretchen said, “Absolutely not, what is that?  A spaceship?  Minus one.”

Bobby Sherman, the pop singer and Here Come the Brides actor teen idol of the 1960s, has died. He was 81. It was revealed in March that he had been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Discovered at a Hollywood cast party when he was 20, Sherman got a big break when he was signed as a regular vocalist for the ABC musical variety show Shindig! in 1964. He played a singing surfer The Monkees before landing on Here Come the Brides, playing the youngest of three brothers. With all that television exposure, Sherman’s singing career took off with songs like “Julie, Do Ya Love Me” and “Easy Come, Easy Go.” More recently, Sherman worked as an emergency medical technician who trained paramedics in CPR and first aid at the Los Angeles Police Academy. He also became a reserve police officer and a deputy
