Brad Pitt went to AA after his divorce from Angelina Jolie. He says, “I needed rebooting. I needed to wake up in some areas. And it just meant a lot to me.”
Barbra Streisand would consider returning for “Meet the Parents 4” if she’s paid a lot of money. She says she wasn’t paid the same as her co-stars for the other films, and she’s still not happy about it.
Toby Keith didn’t just sing about patriotism . . . he lived it. During his hundreds of USO shows, Toby played for troops stationed in some of the most dangerous parts of the world . . . and yes, he literally came under enemy fire while doing it. In one story his helicopter was flying over Mosul, Iraq when it started taking small arms fire. And Toby just noticed they were flying sideways and asked, “Why the heck are we tilting like this?” When they landed, the pilot told him they’d been under fire. Toby just laughed and said, “Would’ve been nice to give a cowboy a shotgun or something.” He kept going back overseas and never made a big deal of it . . . because he didn’t want to scare others from doing the same.
For the first time in 32 years, Dolly Parton is headed back to the Vegas strip for an extended run. She just announced a six-show mini-residency at Caesars Palace this December called “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas”. She said she’s beyond excited. The shows run December 4th through the 13th, and fans can expect all her classics: “9 to 5” . . . “Jolene” . . . “I Will Always Love You” . . . and more. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, and some of the VIP packages include backstage access, photo ops, and hang time in “Dolly’s Rhinestone Lounge.” On top of it all, Dolly just put out a rock song with Motley Crue . . . She’s got a Broadway musical on the way . . . and she’s being honored with a humanitarian award at the Oscars this fall.
Jon Pardi is currently on his Honkytonk Hollywood Tour, with Corey Kent and Kassi Ashton. And Corey just admitted that before each of the shows, some of the crew get together to play spin the bottle. But instead of a sweet kiss, the loser gets TASED. Corey admits he’s been tased in the chest at least SIX times in the tour so far. No one has invited Jon yet to partake in this sick pre-show tradition, but they plan on asking him soon. Although I don’t know how happy the crowd will be when they have to cancel a show because of a taser injury. Corey swears that playing TASER ROULETTE 30 seconds before the show leads to giving fans a better concert. He says, “It’s so exhilarating.”
