Charlie Sheen’s autobiography, “The Book of Sheen”, is coming out September 9th. In it, he writes about, quote, “every detox, retox, drug deal, and adventure along his challenging journey to freedom.”
Jennifer Love Hewitt will narrate a new true crime series called “A Killer Among Friends”. It’s about murders within friend groups and it premieres July 14th on Investigation Discovery.
It was just announced that Lainey Wilson will be getting her very own exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame. It’s called “Lainey Wilson: Tough as Nails”, and it will trace Lainey’s steps from her family’s farm in Baskin, Louisiana . . . all the way to her rise to fame. The exhibit will include stage wear, instruments, photographs, childhood memorabilia, and more. The CEO of the Country Music Hall of Fame said, “From a young age, Lainey had an unwavering faith in herself . . . This exhibit will examine the seeds of her career, including the requisite talent, hard work and ingenuity throughout her ten-year journey in Nashville that fueled her emergence as a globally beloved artist.” The exhibit opens on July 18th and runs through June of next year.
Post Malone is out with Jelly Roll on the Big [Butt] Stadium Tour . . . He’s opening a new bar on Broadway in Nashville . . . and he already is planning a follow-up country album to “F-1 Trillion”. Post’s guitar player was asked what that new album sounds like and he said, “There’s more fiddle, pedal steel, [and] guitar solos. [What] started as two feet over the line into traditional country on ‘F-1 Trillion’ . . . has turned into head, chest, shoulders and feet across the line on where we’re headed with the next batch of songs.” Post said “I want to make sure I do things with respect. I feel honored that everyone has been accepting and patient with me.” He’s already collaborated with Morgan Wallen, Chris Stapleton, Blake Shelton, and Brad Paisley
An interview from 2020 with Dolly Parton and Jimmy Fallon is making the rounds again . . . Because of what happened when Dolly met the real-life Jolene. Dolly said, “I did see Jolene not that long ago, she’s not so hot now. She used to have that beautiful red hair, now she’s gray. She used to have a little tight butt, but now it’s a tight spot getting her butt through the door . . . And she used to wear a D-cup, now she’s wearing depends.” Of course, Jolene was not her real name, and we might never know her true identity.
