TV Tonight:  Game 1 of “The Stanley Cup Finals”, the premiere of “Power Moves with Shaquille O’Neal”, and the premiere of Owen Wilson’s golf comedy “Stick”.

Ella Langley is currently supporting Riley Green on his Tour.  But the other day, she messed up onstage and went online and apologized for it. Before Ella performed, country artists Wyatt McCubbin and Vincent Mason had sets.  But when Ella went to give them a shout out, she switched one of the names. She thanked Hudson Westbrook instead of Vincent Mason.  Hudson is not performing with Ella at all this year.  So, fans seemed confused, but still cheered anyway. But Ella, like the true pro she is, has already publicly apologized for it.  She said on TikTok, “I made an oopsie, and the problem is, the oopsie was so strange . . . because I have no idea why.” She laughed a little and said, “Anyway, so, public apology . . . Sorry Vincent! Hudson, shoutout to you, and then Vincent, sorry.” Both Vincent and Hudson didn’t seem bothered one bit by the mix-up.  Vincent commented, “Literally who is Vincent Mason.”  And Hudson said, “I’ll take the shoutout any day.”

All of Nashville is gearing up for CMA Fest, which kicks off tomorrow and runs through Sunday. It can average upwards of 100,000 people PER DAY, so you’d better be prepared.  If you’re in Music City for the big event, here are some great tips:

1.  CMA Fest is cashless.  Set up your phone with Apple Pay/Google Pay – a lot easier.

2.  Activate “find my phone” on your phone.  It could be a lifesaver later.

3.  Download the official CMA Fest app.  It’s a great resource, especially if something changes last-minute.

4.  Bring a clear bag.  CMA Fest has a clear bag policy . . . consider yourself warned.

5.  Drink lots and lots of water.  We know most of you are probably in town to drink a lot more than that.  But Nashville can be HOT, so you’re gonna want to stay hydrated.

6.  There’s free music EVERYWHERE.  Sure, there are the big paid shows at Nissan Stadium at night . . . but you can go just about anywhere on Broadway and listen to awesome live music for free.

7.  Leave the cowboy boots at home.  The name of the game is comfort.  Sure, those boots look cool at first, but after 12 hours on your feet, you’re gonna be singing a different tune.

8.  Nashville weather is unpredictable.  It may rain . . . there could be a tornado . . . or it may be as hot as the surface of the sun.  Oh yeah, and bring sunscreen.

Jason Aldean was asked what he thought of encores at concerts and he shot it straight. He said, “I’m not a big encore guy.  I hate when artists kind of bait [the crowd] into that . . . It’s like, ‘Oh, I’m not going to play one of my biggest songs.” He went on to say, “I always tell them, ‘Listen, I’m gonna just play you guys everything we got, and when it’s over, it’s over.’  Like, that’s it.  I’m not going to go offstage for five minutes and wait for you guys to cheer for me to come back out.” So, how does he handle the end of shows?  Simple.  Jason said, “When we leave the stage, it’s done.” It’s like going to see the Eagles and they “end” the show before they’ve played “Hotel California”.  You know very well that’s going down in the encore.

Rumor has it that Post Malone will be opening a new bar sometime this summer in Music City.  The main clue is the quote on the new bar that reads, “Something big is coming.  We’ll keep you POSTED.” Post has already confirmed he’s working on another country album.  I guess “F-1 Trillion” wasn’t a one-and-done. I’m pretty excited for the new record already.  Made probably 35 songs . . . it’s just a matter of which one’s rock, and which one’s sock.”

55 year old Ellen Pompeo wasn’t prepared for a recent airport experience that led to a bomb squad being called in. She recounted a recent trip during which she was detained by airport Transportation Security Administration (TSA) because of “probably the most expensive sunflower seeds money can buy.” “I had a bag of sunflower seeds, like organic sunflower seeds from Erewhon,” Pompeo told the outlet. “They literally held me for an hour, and they brought the bomb squad in.” “They said it was most likely a chemical on the packaging of these super expensive, fancy, organic, clean sunflower seeds. My protein on the plane!” Pompeo said that she even offered to throw the seeds away, but was told that TSA needed her to wait for the bomb squad to assess the unopened bag. “I almost missed the flight.

John Krasinski gives his mother 10% of his earnings, because she encouraged him not to quit when the acting thing wasn’t working out.

Dolly Parton proved once again she’s just one of us by admitting to the one thing she eats every day:  POTATOES.  She doesn’t need anything glamorous . . . she said she just looks for, “good, hearty food.” Here’s what she said recently:  “I have to have something with potatoes . . . I mean,…
