Dolly Parton says she’s excited for Jennifer Aniston’s remake of “9-5” directed by Diablo Cody. But that doesn’t mean she wants to be in it. Even though Jennifer has previously said that she wants Dolly, Jane Fonda, and Lily Tomlin to be in the film in some capacity. Here’s what Dolly said, “We have no plans to be in that, but I do wish her the best . . . I think a lot of it is that, we’re all older now, we’re not gonna look that good on the big screen. All of us up there with all those beautiful, young, fresh people . . . so I don’t know.” Dolly also said, quote, “Jane, Lily and I have been trying for years to try to come up with a “9 to 5: Two”, [but] it never happened.” But Dolly told Jennifer quote, “You’re more than welcome to use my song ‘9 to 5’, and if you need some additional songs, or if you need the song rewritten or reworked . . . I really would love to see the show, and I’d love to be able to write some music, be involved in that way with it.”
Morgan Wallen recently got to play golf with Tom Brady in Tennessee, and Tom put the whole thing up on his YouTube. At one point Tom asked Morgan if he always loved music. And Morgan said, “Yeah, I started singing in church when I was three years old. My dad was a pastor, and my mom just recognized early on that I had a love for it.” He went on to say, quote, “When I was five, I wanted a violin for Christmas, so I started learning it . . . [And] I was offered a southern gospel contract at seven years old. And my mom was like, ‘Nah, I want him to be a kid.’ Thankfully.” So, Morgan’s career could have gone MUCH differently. Good job to his mom for letting him be a kid . . . and eventually one of the biggest names in all of country music.
The drama between Ella Langley, Riley Green, and Megan Moroney never seems to end. Ella and Riley have their famous song together, “You Look Like You Love Me” . . . and everyone always assumes they are together, but they are not. Instead, Riley is most likely dating Megan Moroney, so fans are drawing lines in the sand. And Ella is stirring the pot . . . literally. She posted a video where she’s over her stove stirring a pot, while listening to Kaitlin Butts’ song, “You Ain’t Gotta Die (To Be Dead to Me)”. The song’s lyrics are: “I think I have heard of that man. I think he got run over by a train, mauled by a bear, maybe? Hopefully.”
Jelly Roll was doing a photo shoot for the Nashville Predators a while back, and his wife, Bunnie Xo, wanted his attention. So, she flashed him her boobs. Herr back was to camera, so it was just for him. But it’s his reaction that’s getting all the attention. He did what most men would do . . . and immediately lit up with the biggest smile. And then he started fist pumping the sky.
