Happy “Morgan Wallen Released an Album Day” to you, and yours. Have you had a chance to listen to it? It’s a whopping 37 songs. Here’s everything you need to know about Morgan’s newest double album “I’m the Problem”:
1. When he released the album name in January it angered a bunch of Swifties. That’s a great start, from a marketing standpoint. Instant engagement.
2. Morgan answered back by taking a record away from Taylor Swift. He now has SIX top 10s on the Billboard Hot 100 before the album was even released.
“Love Somebody” got to #1 . . . “I’m the Problem” peaked at #2 . . . “Smile” and “Just in Case” both peaked at #4 . . . “Lies, Lies, Lies” peaked at #7 . . . and “I Ain’t Coming Back” with Post Malone got as high as #8.
3. The album’s been officially done since March.

Charles Barkley is one of the most recognizable faces on television. But who knew he was also a big country music fan. He was playing a Pro-Am golf tournament in Birmingham, Alabama and was asked about his music tastes. Here’s what he said, “I’m going through a country stage now, with Dan + Shay and Kane Brown. Dolly Parton was once on the Donny & Marie talk show, and they were talking about their families. Dolly said, “This is a religious thing, you having all these kids, right? Blake Shelton stopped by “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” this week and Jimmy started it off by roasting Blake’s new album cover. He said that the moody photo made Blake look like he was about to “start a fight” . . . before comparing it to something you’d find on the wall of a small-town bar’s “do not serve” list. And then Jimmy made fun of the title . . . “For Recreational Use Only” . . . But Blake took that in stride, too. He even admitted that naming albums isn’t exactly his favorite part of the job. He just wants it to be memorable. But eventually Blake had enough and said, “Would you ask me some real questions, man?”
