Ella Langley is fresh off of a huge night at the ACMs, but she just admitted that she’s having a tough time mentally. Here’s what she said, “Last week was actually one of the toughest mental health weeks I’ve had in a long time. Which is crazy because so many good things are happening that I’ve dreamed about and prayed about . . . And it’s okay to be two things.” She also talked a little bit about imposter syndrome being in the same category as Lainey Wilson and Miranda Lambert. At the ACMs, Ella won New Female Artist of the Year . . . and for “I Think You Love Me” with Riley Green she won: Single of the Year . . . Music Event of the Year . . . and Visual Media of the Year. But it just goes to show you that mental health battles can come at any time. Thank you to Ella for being brave enough to speak up. Hope she feels better soon.
Jordan Mailata is an All-Pro offensive tackle for the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles. His job entails keeping quarterback Jalen Hurts safe on his blindside. But what he did recently might have taken more guts than anything he’s ever done on a football field . . . He sang “Tennessee Whiskey” in front of Chris Stapleton. It was backstage at the George Strait concert, with a bunch of people gathered around. Including former NFL player Jason Kelce, who was hyped watching his friend show off. And Jordan didn’t just sing the easy parts, he hit the insane vocal run, too. It was so good, Chris yelled out “Yeah!” And then clapped and gave him props. After Jordan got done singing, Chris shook his hand, and said, “Man, thank you.”
