Chris Janson and Bret Michaels will bring their friendship and performance chemistry to the stage last night on “CMT Crossroads: Bret Michaels & Chris Janson.”

Encore showings include Saturday, 12/23 at 12p/11c (CMT); Sunday, 12/24 at 8p/7c (MTV Live); Wednesday, 12/27 at 8p/7c (MTV Live); Saturday, 12/30 at 9p (CMT Music); Sunday, 12/31 at 8p (CMT Music).

Willie Nelson opened the doors to his personal life with his new Paramount+ documentary series “WILLIE NELSON & FAMILY.” The series won critical acclaim following its premiere at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival and will debut as a four-part series on today on Paramount+.

“WILLIE NELSON & FAMILY” explores Nelson’s seven-decade career. Spiritual, dramatic and playful, the series highlights the highs and lows of his professional and personal life, tracing his steps from Abbott, Texas, to one of the most prolific and beloved singer/songwriters of many generations. The series combines the perspectives of Nelson’s children, his sister, Bobbie, fellow musicians, producers, lawyers, managers and more.

“New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash” is headed North to New York City to ring in the new year live from the Big Apple and Nashville.

Elle King and Entertainment Tonight’s Rachel Smith will host the Nashville portion of the event, while TV and radio host Cody Alan, CBS anchor Lonnie Quinn and Dustin Lynch will be reporting from New York City’s Times Square.

In addition to the fresh location, a string of new performers was also announced –  including: Trace Adkins, Grace Bowers, Kane Brown, Jackson Dean, HARDY, Cody Johnson, Parker McCollum, Megan Moroney, Brothers Osborne, Jon Pardi, Carly Pearce, Blake Shelton, Morgan Wallen and Bailey Zimmerman. The singers will join the previously announced line-up of Old Dominion, King, Thomas Rhett, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Lainey Wilson.

The five-hour broadcast will include 50 performances from Nashville, along with dual countdowns to midnight. Lynch and company will follow the East Coast ball drop to 2024 with King keeping track of the minutes in Music City leading up to the Music Note drop at midnight central time at the Bicentennial Mall stage.
