Sam Hunt and his wife Hannah have about six weeks left before their second child arrives . . . and they still don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl.  That’s on purpose.  He talked about it in a recent interview.  “We’re waiting to find out the gender of the baby on the day of.”  Being surprised about something that important doesn’t work for most people . . . but it fits Sam to a “T”. “I’m not really a planner, I sorta fly by the seat of my pants, so it’s been easy on me.  It took a minute to talk Hannah into it [but] she’s on board.  It was hard on her for a while, but we’re both excited about finding out on the day of.” He said they haven’t picked out a name either, but they do have a pool of family names ready to go.

Zach Bryan teased some new music this week, including at least one song he worked on with two-time Grammy winner Bon Iver. He said on Instagram that he went on a huge writing binge.  Quote, “Locked myself in a studio all week, wrote myself through a notebook, walked around with people I love in the city, [and] then went campin’.” Zach’s been doing a lot of new music lately, and a lot of collaborations.  He just put out a new 16-track album last month that includes songs he did with Kacey Musgraves, The War and Treaty, and The Lumineers.
