There may be hope for Jimmie Allen’s marriage, despite the two sexual assault charges he’s looking at. We’ll talk about those in a bit. But appears that he’s trying to work things out with his estranged wife, Alexis Gale. He told “People”, quote, “The divorce case is still pending, as my wife and I are working to resolve things together as a family.” He added that he recently took time off to be with his wife, kids, and friends, “to ensure everyone was okay.” As for the charges. He filed two countersuits yesterday in Nashville federal court. The suits claim that one of the women defamed him, and the other illegally took his cell phone. He also told “Billboard” that his legal team is “proceeding with an appropriate course of action” in order to “protect my reputation and refute these claims that have caused severe damage to my family, mental health, and business.”
Now that Jelly Roll is famous . . . at least to us . . . we’re meeting everybody in his family. Slowly. There’s his wife Bunnie XO, his daughter Bailee Ann, and now his six-year-old son Noah Buddy DeFord. (DeFord is Jelly’s last name.) On Wednesday, Bunnie shared a video of herself interviewing Noah . . . and we learned that his favorite color is red, he’s a huge Pokémon fan, his favorite sport is soccer, and he loves dogs and cats equally.
Toby Keith celebrated his 62nd birthday with National Fresh Water Hall of Fame fisherman Jimmy Houston. They had dinner at a Mexican restaurant in Orlando, and Jimmy shared a photo of Toby in front of his birthday cake. It’s a watermelon raspberry cake and it looks a little like a green and yellow basketball. The inscription reads, quote, “You’re one in a melon”.
