Dan + Shay said they’re close to finishing their next album.  One thing holding it up is . . . Dan Smyers, who can’t stop tweaking it.  “I’m still obsessing over mixes.  I need to turn it in ASAP. There are songs about exactly where we’re at in our lives.  There’s love, there’s loss, there’s fun.”  The album will be out by the end of the year.

Morgan Wallen has reportedly talked with his buddies Hardy and Ernest about forming a super group. In an interview Hardy said, “We’ve definitely talked about it.  I think it would be awesome [and] I think it would do really well and would set up a tour perfectly.” Morgan will return from 6 weeks of vocal rest in late June.  His first shows back will be June 22nd and 23rd at Wrigley Field in Chicago.

31-year-old Ingrid Andress has the rare opportunity to open for the legendary Stevie Nicks for five dates starting in August.  She says, “Opening for my absolute hero never gets old . . . what is my life!?!”

Miranda Lambert posted a tease about new music yesterday on Instagram.  There are two photos of her in a recording studio, with the caption, “Stay tuned.”  There’s also a clip from an interview of her saying, “I’ve got a few collabs that I’m excited about.”  No word when any of this will be out.

Army veteran Craig Morgan performed his song “Soldier” at Monday’s Memorial Day Parade in Washington D.C.  It was just Craig and his guitar player, and it was terrific.

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart attended their son Liam’s college graduation at Amherst. Flockhart adopted Liam in 2001, one year before she met Ford at the Golden Globe Awards. The couple got engaged in 2009, tying the knot the following year in New Mexico. Ford subsequently adopted Liam.

Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night” has now topped the Hot 100 for eight weeks.
