76 year old Jimmy Buffett is on the mend following a brief hospitalization on Thursday. He’s heading home from the hospital and shared that he’d be going on a “fishing trip with old friends, along with paddling and sailing and get myself back in good shape” upon his return home. Once he’s back in shape, the Jimmy Buffett & the Coral Reefer Band would “look at the whens and wheres of shows,” adding that he feels playing music “is as therapeutic for me as it is for fans to listen and sing along.” They were scheduled to perform in Charleston, South Carolina over the weekend but were forced to postpone it. Buffett told his followers in a social media post on Thursday that following a trip to the Bahamas, “I had to stop in Boston for a check-up but wound up back in the hospital to address some issues that needed immediate attention.” He did not share exactly what is ailing him but promised to perform his postponed concert as soon as he is able.

Melissa Plotkin from York County appeared in the background of the Today Show. She and her husband were visiting New York. And they went to the Today Show. Melissa said some of the staff noticed that she looked a lot like Dylan and Dylan came over right before the forecast during the 8:30 half hour and they talked and took a picture together. 

Paris Hilton’s chihuahua just died . . . but she lived to be 23. 

Woody Allen was having dinner in Manhattan when his friend started choking.  Woody jumped up and performed the Heimlich.  The guy says, “If it wasn’t for his quick thinking, I fear I may have died.  I owe him my life.” 

In order to play Henry the 8th, Jude Law bathed himself in a “perfume” that smelled like blood, sweat, and POOP.  Apparently, Henry smelled pretty bad.  Jude says, “I thought it would have a great impact if I smelt awful

The American Film Institute made a list of the 100 greatest movie quotes of all time.  At #1 is “Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn,” from 1939’s “Gone with the Wind”. 

Justin Moore’s daughter Ella turned 13 in February, and somebody asked him how that’s going.  He said, “It sucks. She doesn’t come out of her room.  I’ve seen her room.  It’s not that spectacular.  I mean, not to stay in there eight hours a day.”  Ella DID emerge to attend a dance with a boy for the first time, and that didn’t sit well either. “My wife’s like, ‘It’s no big deal.’  I go, ‘It is a big deal.’  They did the whole thing, hair getting done, makeup . . . I can’t stand it.  I wasn’t happy, but it’s part of life, and it’s normal.  There’s nothing wrong with it, but as a dad, I still hate it.”

Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Matty Healy is on record as saying some pretty racist, chauvinistic, and homophobic things.  And some of Taylor’s fans want her to address it.  They’ve even started the Speak Up Now campaign to convince her. 

Blake Shelton has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but his wife Gwen Stefani doesn’t.  Does he teases her about it?  “I’m never one to brag about getting a star.  I would never do that.  Especially with my wife. “Y’know, I want to encourage her, and I hope that she gets her own in a few years after I’ve had a chance to rub it in as much as I can.”

Carly Pearce shared an emotional moment with a couple of fans at a recent show, when she saw their sign, which had a picture of their parents, and said, “Can’t wait for them to show me around.” Carly wrote her song “Show Me Around” in memory of her producer, who passed away in 2019 from brain cancer.  And at that moment, Carly decided to change the set-list to perform that song for the fans.

In case you missed it . . . Lainey Wilson was a guest on the “American Idol” Season 21 finale Sunday.  She took full advantage of the exposure by performing two different times.  She did an epic duet with Jelly Roll on his song, “Save Me”. She also sang “Heart Like a Truck” with Top 10 contestants Marybeth Byrd and Warren Peay.

Travis Denning and his long-time girlfriend Madison Montgomery got married on Saturday in Nashville.  He shared a photo of their first kiss and wrote . . .”Not a bad Saturday if I do say so myself.”  The couple will be honeymooning  Switzerland.  Travis is 30, and Madison is 26.

Morgan Wallen is still #1 on the Hot 100.

Jewel is 49. 

Ken Jennings is 49.  He won 74 straight episodes of “Jeopardy!”, earning more than $2.5 million.  He dominated the “Greatest of All Time” tournament against James Holzhauer and Brad Rutter.

Melissa McBride is 58.  Carol on “The Walking Dead”.

Drew Carey is 65.  “Price Is Right” host.  He also hosted the original run of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” in the late ’90s.   Drew Carey is paying the bill for writers to eat at two restaurants in the Los Angeles area for the duration of the strike.  All they have to do is show their Writers Guild of America card.

Joan Collins is 90.  Alexis Carrington on the original “Dynasty”.  Nicollette Sheridan plays her on the CW’s reboot.
