Rainn Wilson says that when he was young, he and his family lived in a haunted house in Nicaragua.  But his father got rid of the ghosts by getting friends together to pray.  “They prayed it out of there.”

Cole Swindell got engaged to his girlfriend, Courtney Little, on Sunday.  He surprised her on a farm near Nashville, which was where they had their first date.  He hired a photographer to hide in the field and take pics. His post featured several photos, plus this caption, “Still couldn’t tell ya everything I said down on one knee.  All I know is she said ‘yes’.  We’re so excited. It’s hard to put into words how happy I am.  I’m glad to have somebody to share everything with.  She makes me better, and I’m the happiest I’ve ever been in all parts of my life.” Courtney is a former dancer for the Charlotte Hornets, and the 2017 Miss Teen North Carolina.  She was in Cole’s “Some Habits” video.  She’s also the co-owner of an online clothing store named The Little Sisters Boutique.

Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren went to a Taylor Swift concert in Nashville over the weekend, and he shared pics and clips on Instagram.  They were typical Swifties . . . dancing, singing, and shouting, while temporarily losing their minds. The caption included this recap of the night:  “Voice lost, check.  All the merch, check.  Heard [the song] ’22’ in the rain, check.  Inspired to play a four-hour show, check.  Four hours of sleep, check.  Worth it.  @#TSTheErasTour.”

This month marks six years since Rascal Flatts released their final album, but Gary LeVox is on the road doing some solo dates this spring . . . and he’s planning to release more new music this fall. “It’s gonna be really good . . . really, really good . . . you just wait and see.” He didn’t get specific, other than the fact that he has up-tempo stuff AND gospel music “brewing.”

Riley Green has opened for Luke Combs, Thomas Rhett, Dierks Bentley, and Luke Bryan, to name a few . . . he was asked what headliner serves the best backstage food to the openers and crew.  He said, “Brad Paisley.  By far. “It was my first major tour.  We had lobster.  You’re doing it that long, you can afford to eat nice.  When we got off that tour we went back to mine, which was pizza.  I miss that one a lot.”

Lainey Wilson remembered seeing a group of guys breakdancing during her show in North Carolina last year.  She was able to track them down on social media to have them be in her video for “Grease”. “I thought it was the coolest thing they were breakdancing to country music.”

Hot Country Knights have new music on the way.  That’s Dierks Bentley’s ’90s parody band.  He’s the lead singer but goes by the name Doug Douglason.  They tweeted out a photo and said, “We’re back, baby.  Who’s ready for new music?” Their last album, “The K Is Silent”, came out in 2020.

Mother’s Day is Sunday, and every mom is special.  Parker McCollum says this about his.  “She’s a fantastic woman who went above and beyond for us as kids to always make sure, probably even when we weren’t able to have things, she still made those things happen.”

Sam Hunt shared a clip of a new song that will be out just in time for Mother’s Day.  It’s called “Women In My Life”, and it drops Friday.
