The three actors with the biggest box office appeal, according to a nationwide survey are Tom Cruise, The Rock, and Tom Hanks. 

The Writers Guild of America authorized a strike yesterday morning.  As of now, all late-night shows have gone dark, along with “Saturday Night Live”.  Writing on the upcoming seasons of “Cobra Kai” and “Yellowjackets” has also been halted. One of Jimmy Fallon’s employees Tweeted that he doesn’t appear to be supporting his staff during the writers’ strike.  Jay Leno brought donuts to striking writers, and Rob Lowe and Natasha Lyonne were both spotted on a picket line at Paramount.

Did you know Jelly Roll has his own food truck that sells JELLY DONUTS? “Rollin’ with Jelly” is in Nashville.  They sell other stuff too, like burgers, wings, and a signature lemonade called “Jelly Nade” He said it’s the “coolest story ever.” He started it with an old friend who’d also been in and out of jail when he was younger.  The guy couldn’t find a job because he was a convicted felon.  So, Jelly helped him launch the truck, and they only hire other former inmates.

Chris Janson is releasing a new song on Friday.  It’s called “21 Forever”, and it features Dolly Parton and Slash.  “This is my absolute biggest collaboration to date.  Dolly and Slash . . . it doesn’t get any bigger than that.  I’m incredibly humbled and grateful for these two.  I hope you’ll all enjoy ’21 Forever’.”

Easton Corbin paused while singing “Marry That Girl” in concert Saturday in Green Bay, Wisconsin . . . and then brought a “buddy” out and gave him the mic. It was a fella named Joe Wilke and he said, “I love this song, and I wanna marry that girl.”  Then he got down on one knee and asked Tabatha Brice to be his wife.  She said yes, and they danced while Easton finished the song. 

Eric Church has already done a partnership with Jack Daniel’s . . . and now he’s introducing his OWN whiskey. It’s called “Whiskey JYPSI” . . . because it’s a “contemporary interpretation of the ‘JYPSI Spirit’ in all of us that seeks adventure and deeper meaning.”  The first release is available for pre-order in 38 states. Bottles start at $199.99 apiece.

Brett Young brought his three-year-old daughter Presley, and 21-month-old daughter Rowan to a recent record label event in Nashville. He serenaded them with “In Case You Didn’t Know” as all three of them twirled and danced together.  It ended with the girls wrapped inside daddy’s arms.

The first leg of Hardy’s Mockingbird & The Crow Tour ended on Saturday in Irving, Texas.  To celebrate it, Jameson Rodgers organized a prank that he played WHILE Hardy was performing. Crew members and musicians dressed up in deer and bunny costumes while Jameson loaded up his Nerf gun and hunted them down.  There was chaos. 

Kimberly Perry is releasing her first solo single on Friday.  It’s called “If I Die Young Part 2” and it’s based on The Band Perry’s hit, “If I Die Young”. 

Old Dominion added fall dates to their “No Bad Vibes Tour”.  They’ll be joined by Tyler Hubbard, Chase Rice, Kip Moore, and more on select dates
