Shania Twain just did a big interview with the”Today” show to promote her new album “Queen of Me” that comes out tomorrow.  Here’s our favorite thing she revealed . . .On days when she has to perform, she sticks to a liquid diet and doesn’t eat solid foods.  But it’s not to look skinny on stage . . . it’s so she doesn’t BURP too much. “If I eat on a show day . . . I burp when I sing.”  Speaking of drinking, she also sat down with “Entertainment Tonight Canada”, and they asked what her go-to drink is when she wants to cut loose. Her answer was TEQUILA, and specifically spicy margaritas.  She said they’re very much her style because they’re “not too sweet,” just like her.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has nominated Willie Nelson for possible induction.  The final Class of 2023 won’t officially be announced until May. The Rock Hall inducted Dolly Parton last year, and more country artists will be following in the future.  Earlier this week, they released a new mission statement, saying they’re expanding their focus to include R&B, country, and gospel.

Does Blake Shelton crave attention?  Yesterday, he hit up Instagram with a video of himself wearing a beanie, scarf, and layers of camo.  He’s on his red Kubota tractor bouncing along on his property in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.  Here’s what he needed to tell us.  Quote, “Hey, I’m mowing in the snow because I can.  Woo-hoo.”  He added this in the caption, “Don’t try this at home.”

Zach Bryan wants you to know that he’s a man of his word.  Last September he promised to release a new album THIS month.  Well, it’s not going happen, and wow, does he feel bad about it. “Decided not to release an album in February.  I love you guys and I apologize I said something I didn’t stick to.  Mercy here, please.  Going to let my life play out.”

Even though Carly Pearce’s album, “29: Written In Stone”, was influenced by her divorce from Michael Ray, it resonated.  She says people who never went through a divorce would tell her it echoed experiences in their lives. She’s in the middle of making a new album, and she tells Grammy.com that the inspiration is vastly different.  Quote, “As a writer, I wish I could go through a divorce every time I make a new album, because it makes you feel so inspired.”

There’s a great video making the rounds of Lainey Wilson in concert performing the Merle Haggard classic, “I Think I’ll Just Stay Here And Drink”.  You may have seen her do it at other shows.  She loves the song.

Kacey Musgraves will honor Loretta Lynn at the “65th Annual Grammy Awards” this Sunday.  She’ll perform “Coal Miner’s Daughter” during the in-memoriam segment.  The show starts at 8:00 P.M. Eastern on CBS and Paramount+.
