Last we heard Mick Jagger was the only singer who dared to turn down Dolly Parton’s request to be on her rock album.  But Dolly is NOT done with him.  “USA Today” asked for an update.  Here’s what she said . . “I wanted a song for just me and Mick, “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction”.  Brandi Carlile and Pink are now singing on it.  I’m still waiting for him to come on back.  He might come through.  If not, I’ll kick his bony ass when I see him.”

I’m starting to think Luke Bryan’s crude Dustin Lynch intro at Crash My Playa was a PR move.  First, it got everyone talking.  Then, it got more traction when he issued his apology. And now on Friday he Tweeted this devious scheme.  Quote, “This is 100% happening.  @Dustin-Lynch will be in doing my introduction next year at Crash My Playa.  He has 358 days to compose it.  You will not wanna miss it.”

It was all in good fun when Hardy smashed his guitar across the back of WWE wrestler Solo Sikoa.  Or was it?  Hardy performed at Royal Rumble on Saturday but when he saw Solo backstage, he took off running like a scared rabbit.

Carrie Underwood recently shared a video from last year, and anyone who’s had kids can identify with it.  She’s gushing with pride as she congratulates her youngest son Jake for going “pee-pee in the potty.” She’s wearing a robe and stage makeup, so she was either getting ready for a show, or just finishing one.  She also wrote an update that Jake is now “fully potty trained.”

I expect to see more photos like this, now that “Yellowstone’s” Luke Grimes is recording a country album.  It’s a pick of Luke hanging with Morgan Wallen, Chase Rice, and one of Morgan’s friends.  Morgan posted it on Instagram and wrote, “I keep getting better looking every day.”

Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, and Cody Johnson are the headliners at this year’s Watershed Music Festival.  It’s going down August 4th through the 6th in George, Washington.  Other performers include Carly Pearce, Parker McCollum, and Lainey Wilson.

Jon Pardi and his wife Summer are going to be first-time parents any day now.  And he recently announced that there’s another new project in his life.  He’s heading into the studio this week to record a Christmas album.  Unless, of course, a certain baby has other plans.

Wilmer Fernando Lamas Valderrama is 43.  Nick Torres on “NCIS”.  But to ME he’ll always be Fez on “That ’70s Show”.

Josh Kelley is 43.  His singing career has already been completely overshadowed by his younger brother Charles Kelley, who sings for Lady A.  Josh is married to Katherine Heigl.

Brett Butler is 65.  “Grace Under Fire”.

Phil Collins is 72.

Vanessa Redgrave is 86.

World Chess Champ Boris Spassky is 86

Gene Hackman is 93.  He IS Lex Luthor in the original “Superman” and “Superman II”.

Over a THIRD of the songs on Billboard Hot 100 there right now are Morgan Wallen’s. Morgan’s album “One Thing at a Time” came out this month, and ALL 36 songs are now on the Hot 100 list.  That’s a new record, and not just for country artists.  This only happens when a huge artist…

Are you a TRUE country fan?  Not unless you have a really good memory, I guess.  “Taste of Country” posted a huge list of the, quote, “country music singalongs” that “every country fan should know by heart”.  A lot of them are classics, like “Friends in Low Places” . . . “On the Road Again”…
