Shania Twain hit us with a big surprise yesterday. She released a Deluxe Edition of her incredible 1997 album, “Come On Over”. It’s part of Apple Music’s holiday countdown From Apple Music With Love. This version features TWO live duets of “You’re Still the One”. There’s the version she did with Elton John in Miami back in 1999. The other is the one she recorded with Chris Martin earlier this year in Vegas. There’s also a duet with Nick Jonas on “Party for Two”. That was recorded at Stagecoach back in 2017.
Riley Green’s Instagram is loaded with photos of him hunting. Sometimes you’ll see him smoking a cigar. . . and occasionally he’ll be holding a candy cigarette. The candy needs an explanation, so CMT Hot Country Countdown asked why. He said, quote, “I tried to quit dipping. I don’t know, I always thought it looked cool. I would never smoke a cigarette, my mom would kill me so I was like, I could have a candy cigarette. But yeah, y’know it just passes the time.”
Thomas Rhett is hit-making machine. The man has had 20 Number One songs in 10 years. The 20th is his collaboration with Riley Green on “Half of Me”. He says, quote, “20 number ones in ten years is mind-blowing. This is insane and I’m so grateful for this wild ride. I can’t wait to see what the next decade has in store.” If you want to reminisce, Thomas shared a video montage of all 20.
On Thanksgiving, Kane Brown shared pics and clips of his wife Katelyn and their two daughters. He wrote, “First, I’m so thankful for this amazing woman / mother. Second, I’m blessed to live another day with my amazing girls. And third, today was a good day.”
Kelsea Ballerini just got the keys to her “dream home” in Nashville earlier this month, and you know the home’s previous owner. It was Kacey Musgraves. And you might also know the house itself, because when Kacey had it, it was featured in “Architectural Digest”. Kelsea shelled out $2.5 million for it.
Amy Grant returned to the stage for the first time since her biking accident in July. She kicked off her Christmas tour on Saturday in Memphis. Amy said, quote, “Thank YOU for your many prayers over the last few months, and as my healing continues.”
