Kenny Chesney is at the stage of his career where he can perform just about anywhere he wants.  And that’s exactly why he’s downsizing a bit for next year’s “I Go Back Tour.” Instead of massive stadiums in major cities he’ll go to places he hasn’t visited since he was a younger man.  Quote, “I want to take this band and these songs to cities we played on our way up.  Let’s call the tour ‘I Go Back’, and do just that. He adds, quote, “I remember coming up, the craziness of those dates.  Markets where people used chain-cutters to get onto the lawn because we were sold out.  That’s a kind of energy that should never be left behind.” He’s also bringing fellow East Tennessee native Kelsea Ballerini along as the opener.  Quote, “She understands everything about where I come from, because she’s from there too.” At this point, the tour runs from March into July, but more shows will be added.  You’ll find dates and details at KennyChesney.com.

Even Miranda Lambert’s recipes are bad-ass.  She has new cookbook coming out next April called, “Y’all Eat Yet?”.  Here’s how she describes it. Quote, “I was blessed to be raised by two generations of hell-raising, hard working women who knew how to make people feel good.  This is a look into our lives and the food we’ve made along the way.”

Jackson Dean knew “Don’t Come Lookin'” would be featured on “Yellowstone”, but seeing the actual episode as it aired, blew him away.  Quote, “I was in a hotel room in Santa Fe, watching it on a computer. “They played a like minute and a half of my song, [and] then it goes to Kevin Costner, and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, there’s a piece of film in the world that has my song playing and Kevin Costner in it at the same time.  This is insane.”

Has Luke Combs talked you into buying a pair of his Crocs, yet?  He has a brand new style coming out, and if you still need a push, you can watch his sales pitch on Instagram.  They’re coming out November 30th, but fan club members can get ’em before anybody else.

Larry Gatlin is hosting this year’s “Opry Country Christmas”.  It’s eight nights of shows at the Grand Ole Opry, and they start November 27th.  Some of the artists joining Larry include Lauren Alaina, Scotty McCreery, Josh Turner, and Chris Young.  The shows will air on all Opry digital platforms.

Reba McEntire had to do some juggling after rescheduling a couple of December tour dates.  Terri Clark had conflicts, so she’s being replaced by Jo Dee Messina on December 2nd and 3rd . . . and Suzy Bogguss on December 10th.

Scarlett Johansson is 38.

Oscar Pistorius is 36.  South African runner WITH NO LEGS who made history by competing against able-bodied runners at the 2012 Olympics . . . then went to prison for killing his girlfriend.

Mariel Hemingway is 61.

Jamie Lee Curtis is 64.

Steven Van Zandt is 72.  Silvio on “The Sopranos”.

Billie Jean King is 79.  Tennis legend.
