Hardy’s tour bus overturned and crashed around 2:30 A.M. Sunday morning just outside Nashville. He and three other people were on the bus and all received “significant injuries.” Everyone EXCEPT the driver was released from the hospital. Hardy released this statement yesterday: “Our tour bus was in an accident on our way home from Bristol, [Tennessee]. There were just four of us, including myself, on the bus, however, we were all treated for significant injuries. “Our friend, and bus driver needs your prayers as he is still in the hospital. His family is with him while he is being treated and we’re all praying for him.” Hardy’s doctors have ordered him to stay home and recover for the next few weeks, so he’ll probably miss opening Morgan Wallen this Saturday. Quote, “My team and I will keep the fans updated on that as I rest in the coming days.”
Kelly Clarkson had never been drunk while recording music, until she went into the studio to do her part on, you guessed it, “You’re Drunk, Go Home”. She talked about it on Friday’s “Kelly Clarkson Show”. Kelsea Ballerini was the guest, and Kelly told her the story of how she was “celebrating” her last day of work and didn’t know about the recording session. Quote, “I get in the studio and said, ‘Look, I didn’t know I was going to be singing today. So I had to sing a song called ‘You’re Drunk, Go Home’, inebriated.” It sounded like a fun session, though. She said there’s an outtake of her, quote, “crying and laughing so hard I almost peed my pants.” Carly Pearce joined Kelsea to help her perform “You’re Drunk, Go Home” at Kelsea’s show on Saturday in Chicago. A fan posted a video on Twitter.
Saturday was the fifth anniversary of the Route 91 Harvest festival shooting in Las Vegas that left 60 dead, and over 800 wounded. It’s still the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history. Miranda Lambert is in Vegas for her Velvet Rodeo residency, so she and her crew turned up for the Vegas Strong 5K that raises money for victims’ families. Her husband Brendan McLoughlin ran in it.
