Billy Ray Cyrus is officially dating an Australian singer named Firerose. “They grew close while working on music. He and Tish were over before he started dating her.” “Over” is a vague term when it comes to relationships. Billy Ray and Tish filed for divorce in April, but he’s been “making music” with Firerose for a long time. They performed their song “New Day” on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” in August of 2021. And during the interview she revealed that they MET on the set of “Hannah Montana. He’s 61, but her “age is unknown”. She also got everyone thinking they’re engaged earlier this month when she posted a photo of herself wearing a diamond ring. But there’s been no confirmation on that.
Riley Green was asked if he considers himself a good dancer. His answer was, “kinda”. Quote, “I’m just a good enough dancer that my video guy can make it seem like I am. He knows what to cut out.” Riley likes posting videos of himself dancing goofy. . . so I guess the even weirder parts are edited out?

Nashville’s famous for its hot chicken, but it’s also got BEEF. Or at least its biggest stars sometimes do . . Someone did a round-up of country stars who’ve called each other out for stuff. Here are the highlights
1. Zac Brown vs. Luke Bryan. In 2013, Zac told a radio station in Vancouver that he hated Luke’s song “That’s My Kind of Night”. So it seemed like there was some tension there for a while.
2. Miranda Lambert vs. Eric Church. In 2012, Eric told “Rolling Stone” that musicians who use reality TV to get famous aren’t real artists. Miranda . . . who was on “Nashville Star” . . . called him out on Twitter. He eventually apologized though, and she’d said there’s no bad blood.
3. Eric Church vs. Garth Brooks. Eric . . . and others . . . called Garth out after he lip-synched at the CMA Awards in 2017. Garth refused to apologize. He said he was saving his voice for some shows he had coming up.
4. Garth Brooks vs. Waylon Jennings. Waylon once called him “the most insincere person [he’d] ever seen.” Garth has always maintained they never even met, so he had no idea why Waylon didn’t like him.
5. Kane Brown vs. Jason Aldean. Jason claimed this year that he’s great with audio/video stuff. Kane made fun of him for it and said Jason is NOT good with technology. They’re friends though, so it wasn’t mean-spirited.
6. Craig Morgan vs. Blake Shelton. They’re friends too, so it was all in good fun. This summer, Craig made fun of the cover art for Blake’s single “No Body” . . . specifically the mullet he’s sporting in it.
7. Blake Shelton vs. country legend Ray Price. Blake was defending modern country in 2013 and said, “nobody wants to listen to their grandpa’s music.” Ray took offense and called him out for it, but Blake apologized and they made up.
8. Travis Tritt vs. Billy Ray Cyrus. Back in 1992, Travis ripped the song “Achy Breaky Heart” and called it “frivolous.” So Billy responded at the AMAs six months when it won best single. He referenced Travis’s song “Here’s a Quarter” and said, “To those people who don’t like ‘Achy Breaky Heart’, here’s a quarter, call someone who cares.”
