Elon Musk is picking a fight with Jeff Bezos over . . . “The Lord of the Rings”. Actually, their issues go way deeper than that. But Musk just loves to feel like he’s dunking on people on Twitter. His beef is over the new Amazon series “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power”. He said, quote, “Tolkien is turning in his grave. Almost every male character so far is a coward, a jerk or both. Only Galadriel is brave, smart and nice.” There’s no word back yet from Bezos.
Last week, Rihanna and a group of friends hit up a New York City joint called Caviar Russe, where they enjoyed champagne, sashimi bites . . . and, of course, caviar. She asked the staff to stay past closing, and they eventually wrapped things up at around 2:00 a.m. And since they were cool about staying open for her, Rihanna paid them back by helping them close. A so-called “source” says she was cleaning up and pushing barstools back into place for them.

Kane Brown has been deputized. He performed at the Ally Challengein Grand Blanc Township Michigan on Saturday, and earlier that day he was sworn-in as aGenesee County Deputy. Sheriff Christopher R. Swanson did whole “Raise your right hand and repeat after me” thing. And when it was over he gave Kane a real badge. A clip of it was posted on the Sheriff’s Office Facebook page. In a recent interview in the “New York Times” Kane made his first public comments about Morgan Wallen’s N-word controversy. “This is the first time I’ve talked about this, but I personally know Morgan. I texted him that day. I told him he shouldn’t have said it, but also knowing him, I knew that he didn’t mean it in the way that the world thought that he meant it.
Luke Combs gave some young fans CASH OUT OF HIS POCKET . . . from the stage . . . after hearing about how hard they worked to earn tickets to his show. This happened Friday night in Maine. Luke saw the kids holding signs that said, “We made 100 bucks . . . stacking five cords of wood . . . bought two Luke Combs tickets . . . our dads swore it was a waste of time . . . but they were wrong . . . today’s my 12th birthday.” Combs gave the kids $140 from his pocket toward the tickets, along with some signed hats and other tour merch. Some old geezers will probably whine about how Luke was giving the kids HANDOUTS, but one of the kids say they DID learn a good lesson . . . quote, “The two most important things in life are hard work and kindness.”
Thomas Rhett posted a video explaining why he had to cancel his show in San Diego last month. His vocal cords were “swollen and inflamed” so doctors put him on vocal rest. He joked it was the “quietest he’s been in a decade.” He’ll be back on the road tomorrow in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Billy Ray Cyrus will no longer be performing at The Amp at Dant Crossing in New Haven, Kentucky on Friday, September 23. The venue shared the news with fans via Facebook, revealing that the “Some Gave All” singer has been placed on strict doctor’s orders and is unable to perform. “We are very sorry to announce that Billy Ray Cyrus will be unable to perform at The Amp at Dant Crossing on September 23rd,” the statement issued by the venue reads. “He is currently on physician’s ordered vocal rest and hoping to be back on the road soon.”
