68 years ago – In 1954, Elvis Presley, had his very first single released by Sun Records.  It was “That’s All Right (Mama)”.  The B-side was “Blue Moon of Kentucky”.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were already engaged, but their wedding still seemed like kind of a spur-of-the-moment thing.  And according to a source, it’s because Jen didn’t want to give Ben a chance to skip out. “[Jennifer] has been ready to get married since the night that Ben proposed.  She wanted to lock this down and remove any chance for cold feet A.S.A.P!” They also mentioned that Ben’s 16-year-old daughter Violet didn’t attend the wedding, because she’s loyal to her mom, Jennifer Garner. Even though the wedding was small, Ben and J-Lo are reportedly going to have a big party on Ben’s property in Georgia within the next few weeks.  A source said it’ll be a two or three-day affair with only family and close friends .Jen turns 53 on the 24th, so maybe it’ll also be a birthday celebration.

Maren Morris is one of several country stars who’ve been rejected by “American Idol”, and probably did better because of it.  Yesterday she posted her audition ticket from August 6th, 2007.  It has a Ticketmaster serial number, and she’s in Section 17 . . . Row 7 . . . and Seat 102.  It also had these important instructions:  “Bring Ticket / Wristband / Photo ID.  Do Not Lose This Ticket.” Here’s what she wrote in the caption:  “My mom found my ‘Idol’ audition ticket.  I didn’t make it past the first round cattle call . . . I wasn’t really into sports growing up, but this feels like the equivalent of your mom saving your 10th place trophy.” She knew back then that “Idol” made a mistake.  Somebody in the comments asked about her audition song, and she wrote, “‘Sweet Thing’ by Chaka Khan, and I slayed.”

Somebody in Jason Aldean’s hometown of Macon, Georgia painted a mural of his face on the side of a Dollar General store, and it’s awful.  His face is crooked, his teeth are messed up, and he has no nostrils.  It’s called Macon Greatest, and it features other hometown heroes, like Otis Redding.  Jason hasn’t commented.

Tim McGraw’s “7500 OBO” is his 45th Number One song.

Reba McEntire is trying to reboot her TV show “Reba”.  It ran from 2001 to 2007 on the CW.  In an interview she said, “We [want] to get back together like a reunion and have fun.”

Thomas Rhett’s “Bring the Bar” is the name of a song, a tour, and a code for getting it on with his wife.  He says they got real good at “bringing the bar” on date night during the pandemic.  It could be cooking together, watching a movie, opening a bottle of wine, or “whatever.”

A source said the mystery redhead spotted with Johnny Depp is not a new girlfriend.  She’s teaching him French his upcoming movie.

Rob Zombie’s “Munsters” movie is heading straight to Netflix . . . which is also the home of Tim Burton’s upcoming “Addams Family” series, “Wednesday”. Which is interesting, because the original “Munsters” and “Addams Family” ran against each other on network TV from 1964 to 1966. Rob posted some pictures from an old “TV Guide” that previewed the 1964 – ’65 season, and said, “This fall we are gonna spook-out like it’s 1964! “Yep, THE MUNSTERS and THE ADDAMS FAMILY are returning to the boob tube at the same time courtesy of @netflix.  It’s been 58 years since this clash of the titans first happened.  Perfect entertainment for your pumpkin carving party.” There’s no release date for either yet.
