Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez got HITCHED in Las Vegas over the weekend.  They wanted an Elvis to do the honors, but there wasn’t one available. Jennifer said, “We did it.  Love is beautiful.  Love is kind.  And it turns out love is patient.  Twenty years patient.” They were engaged once before . . . in 2002, but they broke up in ’04. She said that they waited in line for their marriage license with four other couples, including two guys.  And they barely made it to the chapel in time before it closed. She added, “Stick around long enough and maybe you’ll find the best moment of your life in a drive through in Las Vegas at twelve thirty in the morning in the tunnel of love drive through . . .With your kids and the one you’ll spend forever with.  Love is a great thing, maybe the best of things-and worth waiting for.” She signed it “Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck.”

We’re lucky that Carrie Underwood chose country music, because she could OWN any genre.  Especially rock.  She did a terrific cover of Ozzy Osbourne’s “Mama, I’m Coming Home” for her new Apple Music Live Sessions EP. “I’ve always been an Ozzy fan and [that song] is one of my all-time favorites.  I hope we’ve done him proud.”  The EP also has “Ghost Story” and “Blown Away”.

Luke Bryan turned 46 yesterday, and he celebrated it by downing some “beer cake.”  His wife Caroline gave him a custom cake that featured an edible can of Two Lane Beer on the top.  Two Lane is Luke’s premiere beer brand. Luke also carried on the tradition of heading off to a birthday fishing trip.  But first he and the family danced around and acted goofy . . . giving Caroline a chance to sneak in a few birthday swats on his backside.

Luke Combs posted some new photos of himself cuddling his son, Tex, who turns a month old tomorrow.  He wrote, “This is what my days at home look like now.  Couldn’t be happier about that.”
