1.  “The Gray Man”  (PG-13

Ryan Gosling – Billy Bob Thornton It’ll open in a few select theaters and then hit Netflix next week, on July 22nd.

2.  “Where the Crawdads Sing”  (PG-13) 

This is the movie Taylor Swift wrote “Carolina” for.  She says, “‘Where the Crawdads Sing’ is a book I got absolutely lost in when I read it years ago.  I wanted to create something haunting and ethereal to match this mesmerizing story.”

3.  “Wrong Place”  (Unrated) 

This is one of the last movies Bruce Willis made after being diagnosed with aphasia. He announced his retirement from acting earlier this year.  Despite struggling with his condition, Bruce kept working as long as he could to help movies get financed so more people would have jobs during the pandemic. This one is an action thriller – Ashley Greene from “Twilight” plays the daughter.

4.  “Gone in the Night”  (R

5. “Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank”  (PG) 

An animated movie starring Michael Cera as a dog. The rest of the voice cast includes Samuel L Jackson,  Ricky Gervais, George Takei, and Mel Brooks.

6.  “Marcel the Shell with Shoes On”  (PG)

Donald Trump’s first wife Ivana died yesterday at her home in New York City.  She was 73.  There’s no word yet on the cause of death. Police received a call in the early afternoon, and found Ivana unconscious and unresponsive.  She was pronounced dead at the scene. Ivana and Donald married in 1977 and had three kids:  Don Jr., Ivanka, and Eric.  They divorced in 1992, while Donald was having an affair with Marla Maples, who would become his second wife. Ivana was married and divorced four times . . . once before Donald and twice after. Donald released a statement on Truth Social, saying, quote, “[Ivana] was a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life . . . Rest In Peace, Ivana!”

Bill Gates is donating $20 billion to his foundation this month and plans to drop off the list of the world’s wealthiest.  Quote, “I have an obligation to return my resources to society.” 

Ryan Gosling says playing Ken in the “Barbie” movie is his dream, because, “I’ve always wanted to make a character that people might go out for Halloween as.” 

Chris Pratt said he was too scared to play Indiana Jones after hearing a 2019 interview where Harrison Ford said the role dies when he dies.  So Chris was worried he’d be haunted someday if he played Indy.

John Osborne of Brothers Osbourne was set on ending his life before he got help.  Now he’s committed to taking care of himself, which has made him a lot happier.

Tyler Rich is bringing Kylie Morgan along on his fall tour.  It picks up in September and runs into late October. 

Ty Herndon is releasing his new album, “Jacob”, today.  He co-wrote nine of the 11 songs, and he says each one is “personal and autobiographical.” 

  Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner welcomed their second daughter. 

Alfonso Ribiero is joining Tyra Banks to co-host the new season of “Dancing with the Stars”.  It hits Disney+ this fall. 

The 2023 Grammys will be Sunday, February 5th in L.A.
