Cole Swindell Shares the Story Behind His New Single “She Had Me At Heads Carolina”

Cole Swindell’s latest album, Stereotype, already has two number-one songs to its credit – “Single Saturday Night” and “Never Say Never” with Lainey Wilson.

Cole is now releasing his new single from the project, “She Had Me At Heads Carolina.”

The fun, high-energy track throws it back to 90s country referencing Jo Dee Messina’s classic hit “Heads Carolina, Tails California.”

Cole shares, “’She Had Me At Heads Carolina’ is just about a night out with the guys, having fun, walking in a bar, not knowing it’s karaoke night…and turns out there’s a group of girls having a good time. They go and turn in one of their friend’s names…next thing you know, she’s up there on karaoke singing ‘Heads Carolina, Tails California’ by Jo Dee Messina, and that’s the whole story behind the twist on the song.”

Fans will get to hear “She Had Me At Heads Carolina,” along with “Single Saturday Night,” “Never Say Never,” and all of Cole’s other hits songs and fan favorites when his Back Down To The Bar tour kicks off this September.

Cole shares, “Well…we had so much fun on the Down to the Bar tour that we decided to do it all over again in the fall with my friends Ashley Cooke and Dylan Marlowe. Can’t wait to see y’all out there and play this new music for you. It’s gonna be a hell of a time!”
