OWEN WILSON was the victim of grand theft over the holiday weekend. The tires and rims of his Tesla were stolen right in front of his house in Santa Monica. Owen woke up Sunday morning to find them gone. He’s looking at about $4,000 in losses. No arrests have been made, but police are looking at neighborhood security cameras for any leads.
ZACH BRYAN found out yesterday that he has COVID-19. He woke up feeling horrible, so he did two tests, and both were positive. He performed with WILLIE NELSON over the weekend, so he talked about that in a statement. “I would like my following and friends to know that every single precaution was taken with Willie and his Family. The closest I came to him was over 20 feet away, and I was tested every single day while I was on-site.” He’s postponing two shows while he recovers. And he won’t be able to open for Luke Combs this weekend in Seattle. Also, in case you didn’t see this: Zach Bryan called out a couple of guys who were fighting during his show in Bonner Springs, Kansas last month. There’s a video making the rounds, and everyone’s talking about how polite he is. He tells them he won’t call security if they’ll knock it off. And he doesn’t want them taking the fight into the parking lot later. He even apologizes for swearing at them.
KEITH URBAN closed out his Vegas residency last weekend, and one big surprise happened Saturday when his wife NICOLE KIDMAN walked out on stage. He interviewed her like she was a fan. When he asked her name she said, “Nicole Urban” and that she was there to retrieve a jacket he tossed aside.
GARTH BROOKS gave the guitar off his back to a fan at his Gillette Stadium show last month. A woman held up a sign saying she still had a guitar pick from his concert in Bangor, Maine in 1992, so he stopped the show and talked to her. After joking around for a little bit . . . he handed over the guitar.
MORGAN WALLEN had to shut down rumors that he would be performing at the Big Orange Block Party . . which is supposed to be honoring the University of Tennessee baseball team for winning the SEC Tournament. In fact, it’s not even clear the event is happening.
“Pinocchio” with TOM HANKS premieres on Disney+ on September 8th.
KENNY LOGGINS says he recorded a new version of “Danger Zone” for “Top Gun: Maverick” . . . but they stuck with the old one.
RACHEL ZEGLER from “West Side Story” has joined the cast of “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes”.
