KAILIA POSEY from the TLC show “Toddlers and Tiaras” passed away recently. She was only 16. Her family revealed that she took her own life. Her body was discovered over the weekend at Birch Bay State Park in Washington. She appeared on “Toddlers and Tiaras” when she was 5. A screencap of her smile became an instant meme. After that, she continued to compete in pageants, including Miss Washington Teen USA this past February. The family issued a statement saying, “Although she was an accomplished teenager with a bright future ahead of her, unfortunately in one impetuous moment, she made the rash decision to end her earthly life.” They said she won “countless crowns and trophies” over her pageant career and was going to be a cheerleader at her school next fall. She also had job offers to tour as a professional contortionist, and wanted to get a commercial pilot’s license. She’d just turned 16 a few weeks ago.
