Country Music Hall of Fame Ceremony Set to Honor the Class of 2021, Sunday May 1st

The 2022 Country Music Hall of Fame induction ceremony set for Sunday May 1st to honor the class of 2021, will move forward after the passing of The Judd‘s Naomi Judd yesterday April 30th.

Kyle Young, CEO of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, shared “We are shocked and saddened to learn of the death of Naomi Judd, who enters the Country Music Hall of Fame as a member of mother-daughter duo The Judds. Naomi overcame incredible adversity on her way to a significant place in music history. Her triumphant life story overshadows Saturday’s tragic news. Her family has asked that we continue with The Judds’ official Hall of Fame induction…We will do so, with heavy hearts and weighted minds. Naomi and daughter Wynonna’s music will endure.”

The 2021 Country Music Hall of Fame inductees include The Judds, Pete Drake, Eddie Bayers and Ray Charles.
