They call Nashville a “10 year town” because that’s about how long it takes to make it. Although that’s a big IF, because most people don’t make it. But if you’re looking for a textbook example, there’s LAINEY WILSON. She moved to Music City in 2011 and broke out big last year when “Things a Man Oughta Know” reached Number One on the “Billboard” Country Songs chart. It got even better last month when she won her first ACM Awards. She said, “I sat in the bathtub and cried. I did. That was definitely the biggest moment of my career so far. I’ve got goosebumps even thinking about it. [My goal] was to be accepted by the country music community and the family. I feel like I’m kind of becoming one of them, and it just feels wild.” It took a long time for Lainey to realize her dream, but she said,”I also know that this is how it was supposed to go. There was never a doubt in my mind that this is it.”
Yesterday was LORETTA LYNN’s 90th birthday, and I’m sure one of the ways she celebrated was by watching this video that was posted her Facebook page. It featured a steady stream of country stars wishing her the best. Included are Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, Alan Jackson . . . and Dolly Parton who sang “Happy Birthday”.

PAT SAJAK and VANNA WHITE have been doing this “Wheel of Fortune” thing together for about 40 YEARS. Well, Pat might have stepped in it on Wednesday’s episode while trying to make a stupid joke. They had a contestant who described herself as an “opera buff,” so Pat asked Vanna, “Are you an opera buff at all?” Vanna replied, “Yes. I’m not a buff, but I like opera.” Then Pat said, “Have you ever watched opera in the buff? I’m just curious.” Vanna just laughed it off and said, “No!” Now there is OUTRAGE on Twitter, with people basically treating Pat like he’s the next Harvey Weinstein. Some are calling on him to be fired, and one asked, “When did this game show turn into Wheel of Fortune After Dark?”

So well that he even biked 31 miles after shooting all night until 5:00 a.m. Co-star MADS MIKKELSEN said, “It was the first time I met him, and he’s an insanely powerful person. Not just as an actor, but physically . . .”Harrison is a monster of a man, a very nice monster.”

Remember when somebody bought TOM BRADY’s supposed “final” touchdown ball for $518,000 . . . and then Brady unretired THE NEXT DAY? Well, that guy is off the hook. He was able to make a deal with the seller and the sale is off. He might have had to pay the seller a fee, but if so, it wouldn’t have been much. That ball is now just Brady’s 624th touchdown pass, and experts say it’s “only” worth around 50 grand.
