With DOLLY PARTON it’s not just what she says, but how she says it. Every word is 100% Dolly, and 200% interesting . . . whether you agree with her or not. She did an interview – mostly about her love of Eastern Tennessee, where she grew up and where Dollywood is located. She said “The Smokies always call me home. [We’ve] got the most radiant flowers, the biggest assortment of trees. The Smokies have a heart of their own. It’s the way the water flows, the way it sounds, and the way it feels when you get in it. I don’t know if it’s just because it’s my home . . . but I really don’t think so. I think it’s just one of those special places that God put here for us to enjoy. We should pay more attention. We’re mistreating Mother Nature . . . that’s like being ugly to your mama. We need to take better care of the things that God gave us freely. And that we’re so freely messing up.”

“Country Now” has Seven Fun Facts about MIRANDA LAMBERT’s Vegas residency. We’ve already heard several, but these two are interesting. For the first time, Miranda IS going to have outfit changes as part of her show. And . . . No two shows will be alike. She plans to leave space in the setlist to be flexible. One more thing. Miranda released a stylized video of her song “Actin’ Up”. I guess “stylized” means not much production. It’s the same thing over and over.
