“The Princess Bride” is getting its own cookbook filled with over 50 recipes for dishes seen in and inspired by the movie. It comes out December 6th.
Marvel star ANTHONY MACKIE and KELSEA BALLERINI have been announced as co-hosts of this year’s “CMT Music Awards”. Anthony is the Falcon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and your new Captain America after the events from “Avengers Endgame” and the Disney Plus series “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”. This is Kelsea’s second year in a row on the job. Last year she co-hosted with Kane Brown. She says, “I’m thrilled to be returning. This show is always a special one, as it revolves around the fans and celebrates their favorite artists.” The nominations will be announced next Wednesday on “CBS This Morning” . . . and then you can start voting. The show will air live from several locations in Nashville on April 11th. This is also the first the “CMTs” will be on CBS. It’ll also be available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.
MIRANDA LAMBERT writes music like we breathe. During the pandemic, she was on her Tennessee farm writing music for her new 15-track album, “Palomino”, which is out April 29th. One of the songs is called “Strange” and she released that yesterday. And you’ve already heard the track, “If I Was a Cowboy”, which came out in October. The B-52’s join her on the song, “Music City Queen”. There’s also a cover of Mick Jagger’s “Wandering Spirit”. She RE-RECORDED three songs that were originally on her “Marfa Tapes” album with Jack Ingram and Jon Randall. She says, “The making of this record has been one of the most fun and creative experiences of my career. [I] hope y’all are ready to travel with us wandering spirits and meet some cool characters with great stories.”
Headlining the Houston Rodeo is big deal for any country artist. Texas native PARKER MCCOLLUM will be fulfilling a lifetime dream when he does it tomorrow. “It was the main thing I was working towards since I was a kid. The biggest thing I ever thought I’d do was headline the Houston Rodeo. I thought about it every single day since I was a little kid [and] it’s crazy to say that I’m gonna do it.”
Some clues are meant to be obvious. CARRIE UNDERWOOD shared a photo of herself in what looks like a recording studio, and she captioned it, “So, I did a thing.” Judging by the fan comments, that “thing” . . . is probably an album.

“Sesame Street” star EMILIO DELGADO died yesterday after a battle with cancer. He was 81. He played Luis for 40 years.

There’s going to be a two-hour ADELE special on NBC called “An Audience with Adele”. It airs at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 20th and will be on Peacock the next day.

There’s a BILLY JOEL biopic in the works called “Piano Man”, but Billy isn’t involved, and the filmmakers don’t have the rights to use his music.
