BETTY WHITE is being honored with her own patch by the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore.  All troops around the country are invited to participate in the self-guided “Amazing Woman of the Month” program. 

DENZEL WASHINGTON says CHADWICK BOSEMAN hid his illness on the set of “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom”.  Quote, “We had no idea, and it was nobody’s business.  Good for him, keeping it to himself.” 

“Grey’s Anatomy” creator SHONDA RHIMES hates the term “girlboss”.  She says, quote, “I think the girlboss archetype is [B.S.] that men have created to find another way to make women sound bad.  It’s a nice catchphrase to grab a bunch of women into one group.”

SANDRA BULLOCK sang the praises of NETFLIX for giving people jobs, especially herself.  Quote, “Who would think that me, as a woman, would still be working at this point?  I would have been out in the cow pasture . . . it’s true.” 

Of all three people who’ve played “Spider-Man” on the big screen, Tobey Maguire seems to have made the most.  He’s pocketed $36.5 million in salary alone, not counting bonuses.  Andrew Garfield made the least. 

An old clip from “Sesame Street” went viral, showing Elmo getting mad at a rock, because he couldn’t have its cookie.  Then Elmo asked if rocks can eat cookies, and THE ROCK replied that yes, they can.  Then for some reason, he threatened Cookie Monster

JAMES CORDEN is the third late-night host to test positive for COVID-19, so “The Late Late Show” will be off-air for a few days.  He said he was fully vaccinated and boosted so he feels completely fine.

TAYLOR SWIFT has made history again.  She passed SHANIA TWAIN as the female artist with the most weeks at #1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart.  Taylor’s albums have spent 99 weeks at the top, to Shania’s 97.

“Billboard’s” final numbers are in from last year, and MORGAN WALLEN’s  “Dangerous: The Double Album” was THE most popular album of 2021.  It was in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart for 50 weeks, and is the first country release to finish as the year-end top album since Taylor Swift’s “Fearless” in 2009.

  Some guy went on a beer run yesterday in Nashville, and got stuck in the snow.  The good news is that JIMMIE ALLEN helped him get unstuck.  And then Jimmie got back IN his truck and posted a funny rant saying the snow had been in the forecast for two days, so the guy should’ve planned ahead.

KACEY MUSGRAVES can’t stop telling us how much she’s over the moon about her boyfriend Cole Schafer.  She honored his birthday on Wednesday with a post calling him “stunning,” “steadfast,” and “a treasure.”  Plus this, quote, “I thank my stars every day that you exist and that I get to be loved by a man like you.”

JENNIFER LAWRENCE was on “Stephen Colbert” on Wednesday, and during his “Colbert Questionnaire” segment he asked this:  “You only get one song to listen to for the rest of your life?”  She fumbled around a bit, and then said, quote, “‘Holding on to You’ by MIRANDA LAMBERT.”
