WHOOPI GOLDBERG says dating younger guys can be “tiring” because, “There’s a lot of information that you have to impart.”  Like when she once dated a younger guy and he didn’t know Paul McCartney used to be in a band

There’s a website called WikiFeet, where you can spend all kinds of time staring at pictures of female celebrities’ feet.  KIM KARDASHIAN recently discovered it, and got excited when she saw she had a perfect, five-star rating.

Back when PARIS HILTON was out partying around the clock, her mom KATHY used to track her down by calling the city desk at the “New York Post”.  She says, “Usually, they’d be able to track [her] exactly.”

When OLD DOMINION was working on their new album, “Time, Tequila & Therapy”, which is out tomorrow . . . they felt one of the songs needed something extra. MATTHEW RAMSEY said, “As we were writing ‘Lonely Side of Town’, it became this mix of Motown and maybe the Eagles.  Then as we’re listening down to the track, it was just screaming for some collaboration. “We thought about [soul icon] GLADYS KNIGHT, so we asked the studio manager if they knew her.”  Not only did the studio manager know her, but they’re good friends. Gladys was on-board.  He adds, “She was so gracious. She talked about how much she loves country music, and made us see that her biggest songs are really country songs at heart.  And there was no producing Gladys Knight . . . we just let her sing and do her thing.  It was amazing to watch.”

The CMAs announced that next month’s show is returning to Bridgestone Arena, and that audience members must be vaccinated and wear face coverings.  They’ll be revealing the host soon, but it won’t be Reba McEntire, who co-hosted last year with Darius Rucker.  She told “Billboard” she’s not doing it this year.

Like a lot of country singers, JAMESON RODGERS started his career as a songwriter.  His first big success was co-writing Florida Georgia Line’s “Wish You Were on It” with Hardy and a couple of others.  He has a great story about that. “When Hardy called me to tell me one of our songs [was] going to be a single, I literally got a speeding ticket two minutes after I hung up the phone.  I was just like, ‘Well, at least I’ll be able to pay for the ticket now, it’s fine.'”

What did DARIUS RUCKER do on Monday when Facebook and Instagram were down?  He did a side-by-side thing on TikTok where he commented on a video someone posted in May.  It was a guy remembering that Darius had paid off his bar tab the night before.

Are you having guy trouble?  Make him listen to LAINEY WILSON’s “Things a Man Oughta Know”.  She tells Taste of Country, “This lady was telling me about her and her husband having problems and about to get a divorce.  She sent the song over to him and now they’re better than ever.”

CHASE BRYANT got a new puppy last month.  It’s his second German shorthaired pointer, and it’s named Goose.  He says, “I’ve wanted bird dogs my whole life, so I can’t wait to share a good bond with Goose.”  The older pup is named Trigger.
