Being locked up isn’t stopping JOE EXOTIC from finding love. He just launched a contest called “Bachelor King” on his official website. Men interested in being Joe’s next romance must be 18 and fill out an application. The top three winners will each receive a 3-night, 4-day all-inclusive paid getaway with Joe once he’s released from prison . . . which can be filmed for TV. He said, “I have been through hell in three years and I intend on making my new life something I have always dreamed of . . . I want to spend it with someone that can take a relationship serious and be in love and enjoy this ride.” His attorney feels positive that he will be released by the end of the year, so Joe is wasting NO time in finding his next husband. In case you were wondering, his CURRENT husband has said he, “may not continue to be his husband after all that has happened.” So . . . here we are. Applications are being accepted now until September 25th and winners will be announced October 6th
MARK CHESNUTT is postponing shows because he’s having “urgent” back surgery. He’ll need about a 10-week recovery period . . . so he’s canceling all of his shows through September 5th. He’s hoping to eventually re-schedule them. “I’ve been suffering with this for a very long time, and postponed as long as I could. When the doctor says, ‘You have no choice,’ you have no choice. I appreciate [your] support and understanding, and I’ll see you all real soon.”
We have a release date for the documentary, “Dear Rodeo: The Cody Johnson Story”. It’ll be in theaters with limited screenings starting August 10th. Cody says, “It recounts my journey from the dusty rodeo arenas of rural Texas to some of the biggest musical stages in America.” Cody is releasing two new songs tomorrow. There are: “God Bless The Boy (Cori’s Song)” and “Stronger” . . . and you can listen to a sample of each on his Instagram. They’ll be on his next album, which will be out this fall.
Filmmaker ROBERT DOWNEY SR. died after a battle with Parkinson’s. He was 85.
