This week is not ending well for ANGELINA JOLIE.  BRAD PITT was just granted joint legal and physical custody of their five underage kids:  Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne. Maddox is 19, so he can do what he wants.  Which is a good thing, since he pretty much hates Brad.  Angelina will continue to fight it, because she wants sole custody with Brad getting SUPERVISED visits. But she failed to convince the judge that Brad is an unfit parent thanks to several witnesses who testified on his behalf . . . including child services professionals.

Mental Health Awareness Month is almost over, but RYAN REYNOLDS just squeaked in with a personal message about his “lifelong pal, anxiety.” He said, “I know I am not alone, and more importantly, to all those like me who overschedule, overthink, overwork, over-worry and over-everything, please know you are not alone. “We don’t talk enough about mental health and we don’t do enough to destigmatize talking about it.  But, as with this post, better late than never.  I hope . . .”

Former child actor KEVIN CLARK died Tuesday night when he was hit by a car while bicycling in Chicago.  He was only 32 years old. Kevin played the drummer “Spazzy McGee” in “School of Rock”.  It was his only acting credit. JACK BLACK posted a picture of himself with Kevin from the movie, and a shot of them during a more recent reunion.  He said, “Devastating news.  Kevin is gone.  Way too soon. “Beautiful soul.  So many great memories.  Heartbroken.  Sending love to his family and the whole School of Rock community.”

KIM KARDASHIAN’s long journey from porn star to attorney hit a snag recently, when she failed the “baby bar” exam. In California, you don’t have to go to law school to become a lawyer.  Instead, she’s doing a four-year apprenticeship with a law firm, and she plans to take the actual bar in 2022. But if you take that route, you have to pass the baby bar after year one.  Kim needed a 560 to pass, but she only got a 474. Kim says, “I am a failure.  I spent six weeks straight, 10 to 12 hours a day studying . . . To not pass gets your spirit down.  It makes you want to give up.” But Kourtney tells her, “I feel like dad would be really proud of you regardless.  Just the fact that you’re pursuing this.”

CHASE RICE has a morning routine where he talks to God.  In a recent interview he shared the story of how one of his prayers was answered.  It was last year, before lockdown. “I remember telling [God] that I needed some REAL in my life, because I didn’t know what was real anymore.  How do I calm this down?  How do I get people around me that aren’t just there because of the music?  He ended up answering in a way that I wasn’t ready for.”  The answer was, the pandemic.  Suddenly, no recording studios, concerts, or showbiz people hanging around.  It was just Chase and a few close friends at his farm. “We sat around fires, we had a Beer Olympics, we had a ‘Top Gun’ volleyball tournament . . . we lived in a way that we will never do again.  A lot of it wasn’t about music . . . it was about what was going on in your life and my life.  “Those are the conversations I will take into my music and on the road and in that mindset that there is a life outside of that tour bus and on that stage.  I learned that you could have the calm and the chaos at the same time.” You’ll hear some of “those moments” in “The Album, Part III”, which drops tomorrow.

Here are a few more collaborations at next month’s “CMT Music Awards”.  Carrie Underwood will be joined by NeedToBreathe . . . Chris Young and Kane Brown will perform together . . . as will Laura Alaina and Jon Pardi.  Plus, Lady A will take the stage with Carly Pearce and Gabby Barrett.

32-year-old NBA superstar Russell Westbrook injured his ankle during the fourth quarter of a playoff matchup between his Washington Wizards and the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday, May 26. As he was walking off the court toward the locker room at Philly’s Wells Fargo Center, a 76ers fan dumped popcorn on the player.  Video of the incident shows that the nine-time All-Star was irate about the fan’s action and had to be restrained by multiple members of the Wizards’ staff and security team. Security ejected the fan moments later

Formerly-engaged Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have rekindled their romance and, this time, they’re trying to make their long distance kind of love last. J.Lo, 51, and Ben, 48, have traveled around the country the past month as they make up for lost time. After meeting up in Los Angeles and Montana, the couple spent the past four days in Miami.  Ben, who lives in Los Angeles near the three kids he shares with ex Jennifer Garner, took an overnight flight to Florida to be with Jennifer over the weekend. The pair was spotted hitting the gym this week, before they nestled up in a Mediterranean-style Miami estate that’s valued at $18 million.

Tawny Kitaen’s family and closest friends gathered to remember the late actress one last time, with an intimate celebration of life in the town where she died. About 100 people attended, including the 2 daughters she had with Chuck. The program for Tawny’s memorial service remembered her as a “loving mother, daughter, sister, friend, artist … and now our angel.” The back of the program featured one of her paintings.

Chris Colfer of “Glee” fame turns 31 today. Still could pass for a high school chorale member.

Todd Bridges, the lone survivor of the cast of “Different Strokes,” turns 56 today. He used to get together with the late Gary Coleman and they would go back and forth: “What’s wrong with you?” “Oh yeah? What’s wrong with you?”, etc.

Peri Gilpin turns 60 today. She was the wise-cracking Roz on “Frasier” for all those years. They weren’t great years. She had to share a dressing room with Eddie the dog. It might be a good day to call in to a radio psychologist.
