The original DeLorean featured in Back to the Future has been added to the National Historic Vehicle Register of significant automobiles. Of the three DeLoreans turned into time machines for the production, the so-called “hero” car (the one used for closeup shots) has survived. A stunt car that was destroyed during the making of Back to the Future III and another car that had a cutaway body for interior photography were the other two time machines.
SAMUEL E. WRIGHT passed away on Monday after a three-year battle with prostate cancer. He was 74. Wright was the voice of Sebastian the crab in the 1989 Disney classic “The Little Mermaid”, which will no doubt go down as his most famous role. He was also nominated for a Tony for playing Mufasa in the Broadway version of “The Lion King”, starting in 1997. Also was DIZZY GILLESPIE in CLINT EASTWOOD’s 1988 film “Bird”. . . and he played the purple grapes in those Fruit of the Loom commercials back in the day. Wright once told the “L.A. I think a country star’s tour rider will tell you a lot about the kind of person they are. So what kind of person is KELSEA BALLERINI? Let’s take a look. She posted a video on her Instagram stories of the snacks in her dressing room. She has yogurt-covered pretzels, chips and salsa, organic chickpea puffs, bananas, Orbit chewing gum . . . and a bottle of wine.
Here she is describing it, “If you ever wonder what’s on my rider, like what I ask for in a dressing room, this is it. Except they gave me good wine. Normally it’s like Cupcake or something. That’s it. That’s all I need. It makes me happy.” So Kelsea is . . . about what you’d expect. She eats healthy, is polite enough to hide her salsa breath with chewing gum, and although she imbibes, it’s not the strong stuff.
There was an Ohio Valley Wrestling “Defiance” event Saturday in Louisville, Kentucky . . . and the highlight was when EDDIE MONTGOMERY pinned “Mr. Zero Gravity” A.J. Daniels. And there’s video of the whole thing. Eddie was a celebrity guest manager. They were ALL in the ring when Daniels jumped onto the stage to complain about being left off the show. Eddie wasn’t in the mood. He told Daniels, “This is my ring, this is my town, and if you don’t get out of my ring you’re going to get a Kentucky Beatdown.” And then it was on. Eddie took off his jacket, Daniels removed his goggles . . . and then Eddie body slammed him, did an elbow drop, and pinned him.

Congratulations, Cam Anthony! The 19-year-old Philadelphia native was crowned the winner of season 20 of The Voice on Tuesday night. Anthony’s win marks a record eighth victory for coach Blake Shelton, the most of any coach on The Voice. After host Carson Daly announced Anthony as the winner, Shelton ran up on stage to give him a big hug.
