JULIANNA MARGULIES had an awkward interview with STEVEN SEAGAL about 30 years ago. First of all, when she sat down on the couch she felt his GUN under the cushion. Then he read her palm and told her she had “weak kidneys.”
SIMONE BILES made history on Saturday at the GK US Classic in Indianapolis. She became the first woman to land something called the “Yurchenko double pike vault” at a competition. The move starts with a roundoff onto the springboard, followed by a back handspring onto the vaulting table, into a piked double backflip into the landing. Simone said, “I was just thinking, ‘Do it like training. Don’t try to like overdo anything.’ “Because I have a tendency as soon as I raise my hand to kind of overpower things, and I did a little bit, but at least I was on my feet. It’s a new vault and I’m proud of how today went.”
The season finale of “Saturday Night Live” aired this weekend, and people picked up on some possible “clues” that the show is losing five major cast members. The show opened with the cast talking about what a crazy year it’s been. They were divided into groups. One group included the four who’ve been there the longest: Kenan Thompson (18 seasons), Kate McKinnon (10 seasons), and Aidy Bryant and Cecily Strong (8 Seasons each). This has been taken as some kind of sign that these four are leaving. At one point, Kate got choked up when she said, “This is a year when we realized we are more than just a cast, we are a family.” Then, during “Weekend Update”, Pete Davidson ended his appearance on a serious note, saying, “I’m very grateful to be here, and it has been an honor to grow up in front of you guys.” Then Cecily came to the desk and closed out “Update” with a rendition of “My Way”. Obviously, none of this is official yet.
JAKE OWEN and his fiancée Erica Hartlein have a two-year-old daughter named Paris, but they’re still not married. What’s the holdup? Like everything these days . . . the pandemic. In a recent interview he said they’re waiting until it’s safe for everyone to be there. “I love her, she loves me, we definitely want to get married, but not until the time is right . . . until I can party. A big time party. ” In another part of the interview he was asked about the last time he was starstruck. He said, “I got starstruck when I released a backstage acoustic thing we did of Cher’s song, ‘Believe’. “She heard it and then reTweeted it and said ‘Jake, I love your version, this is so cool.’ She’s pretty iconic, and for her to acknowledge that was a pretty cool deal.”
GARTH BROOKS is one of the recipients of this year’s Kennedy Center Honors. The others are Dick Van Dyke, Debbie Allen, Joan Baez, and violinist Midori. They taped five segments of the festivities, and those will be put together for a show airing June 6th on CBS. Garth shared a photo of himself and Trisha Yearwood on Saturday, and he’s wearing the medallion. He wrote, “To loosely quote Maya Angelou. ‘I stand here as one, but I stand here for the people who have carried me to this point.'”
KANE BROWN dancing with his adorable one-year-old daughter Kingsley is every bit of wonderful. His wife Katelyn shared a video of them on her Instagram stories.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are back, and they’re done hiding it … because the first clear shots of them together have surfaced, and they look all too pleased in each other’s company. BA flew into Miami Sunday to meet up with his old flame, trying to look incognito – rocking sunglasses, a dad hat pulled down low and a face mask for good measure. Yet, even with all that, he kinda stuck out like a sore thumb. It became clear he was in town when he later surfaced at a waterfront mansion J Lo was at — where Ben came out onto the balcony for a smoke at one point … facing out towards the cameras, without trying to mask anything. Jen popped in and out herself, but you could only make out her back, as she seemed to be trying to lay a little more low than her boo was. They never came out onto the balcony together — but it’s obvious … they were sharing the same space, if only temporarily. Eventually, they gave up the elusive act altogether and walked down a flight of stairs — with Ben trailing Jennifer, who flashed a big smile … and couldn’t have looked happier.
Dick Van Dyke, Garth Brooks, Debbie Allen, Joan Baez, and violinist Midori received Kennedy Center Honors this weekend. Van Dyke says PRESIDENT BIDEN greeted him in the Oval Office by getting down on one knee.

LIL NAS X was the musical guest on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend . . . and he made headlines BY ACCIDENT when he ripped his pants . . . IN THE FRONT. It happened during his performance of “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)”. He noticed it immediately and covered up with his hand . . . which stayed on his crotch until the song was over. Later on he Tweeted, “I know I do a lot of planned [stuff] but ripping my pants on live television is not one of them.”

The facility is run by Jeff and Lauren Lowe who were featured in the Netflix docuseries Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness. Jeff Lowe said in a statement, “We all know that this has nothing to do with the care of animals. This is the direct result of Tiger King exposing the failures of the US Department of Agriculture.”
