After 19 seasons and more than 3,000 episodes, Ellen DeGeneres is ending her talk show.  She told the Hollywood Reporter, “When you’re a creative person, you constantly need to be challenged – and as great as this show is, and as fun as it is, it’s just not a challenge anymore.”  Sources believe that Kelly Clarkson will take over the hosting duties as she already hosts a talk show in the same time slot.

 

 

The Wiggles have announced a new collaboration with the children’s television series, Sesame Street.  Two music videos will be released commemorating a combined 80 years of entertainment from the two shows.  Wiggles star Anthony Field said, “Collaborating with Sesame Street feels so natural and makes so much sense.  We share the same desire to consistently make music that entertains and educates.”

 

 

“American Idol” finalist CALEB KENNEDY quit after a video surfaced where he’s sitting next to someone who appears to be wearing a Klan hood.  His mother says the kids were emulating characters from a horror movie and it had nothing to do with the KKK.

 

 

SOPHIE TURNER flipped when the paparazzi got pictures of her and JOE JONAS’ daughter.  She posted a video saying, quote, “It’s _______ creepy that grown old men taking pictures of a baby . . . It’s disgusting and you do not have my permission.”

 

 

“This Is Us” will end after its sixth season, which should debut this fall.  The show got a three-year renewal back in 2019, and this may have been the plan all along.

 

 

When you listen to the chorus of LADY A’s hit “Like A Lady” you hear CHARLES KELLEY and DAVE HAYWOOD singing the phrase ‘”Cause I feel like a lady.” That prompted someone to ask each of them to share their “girliest trait.” Charles said he’s been cutting back on his whiskey drinking, and replacing it with a good rosé.  He’s even had waiters ask him to repeat the order, in case they heard him wrong . . . and he snaps back that they didn’t. Dave admits he likes shopping at Lululemon.  “I go to Lululemon all the time.  I live in those clothes, man.  I just want to be comfortable all day long.”  Dave also loves a good rom-com . . . and both guys are fans of “The Notebook”. Charles adds, “If you don’t love ‘The Notebook’, you got no heart.”

 

 

CMT announced that Kane Brown and Kelsea Ballerini will team up to co-host the 2021 CMT Music Awards on June 9. While Brown returns for his second consecutive year as host, this marks Ballerini’s first time hosting the CMT Music Awards.

 

 

CARRIE UNDERWOOD and LUKE BRYAN are two of the superstar acts who are doing residencies at the brand new Resorts World Las Vegas.  Carrie will be there in December, and Luke in February.  Celine Dion and Katy Perry are also doing residencies at the hotel, which opens in November.

 

 

Dierks Bentley got back on stage for the first time since the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic on Tuesday night and he made sure it was an extra special night. Dierks physically handed out beers to fans in the front few rows as he debuted a new song appropriately titled “Beers on Me.” Bentley and his band hit the stage at the Windjammer in Isle of Palms, S.C., on Tuesday night to launch the High Times & Hangovers Tour. In a video below Bentley jumps from the stage and climbs the safety barrier between himself and the audience as he performs “Beers on Me”.

 

 

Ever the optimist. Alex Rodriguez still wants to make things work with Jennifer Lopez — despite her recent reunion with Ben Affleck. “Alex was jealous that Jen and Ben were seeing each other,” a source exclusively reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. “He’s still holding out hope they can reconcile.”

 

 

TAWNY KITAEN’s family says no foul play is suspected in her death, and police found no indication that drugs, alcohol, or suicide caused it.  Tawney’s brother thinks she died of a BROKEN HEART, because their father recently passed.
