Longtime Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek died last November after a lengthy and public battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.  In the months since, myriad of guest hosts have filled in while a permanent replacement is found.  Executive producer, and former guest host, Mike Richards said, “It’s going to come down to the heads of Sony to make that decision, ultimately, and it’ll come down to testing.”

Tiger King nemesis Carole Baskin is launching her own cryptocurrency called $CAT. The new digital currency allows fans to buy merchandise or online experiences from Baskin’s Big Cat Rescue animal sanctuary in Florida.  She tweeted, “I’m purring like a bobcat rolling in catnip because we just launched $cat…  $cat coin is not a currency for investment, but rather is a purr-ency of our fans to show their love for the cats.”

A Chinese translator who works for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is denying that she had anything to do with breaking them up. Her name is Shelly Wang, and she’s worked for the foundation since 2015.  There have been rumors that she had more than a professional relationship with either Bill OR Melinda. On Chinese social media, she said,”I thought that the rumors would go away by themselves, but I did not expect the rumors to become more and more crazily spread . . .”I would like to thank everyone for their concern and help in dispelling the rumors through private messages in the past 24 hours.” Another interesting twist that’s come up since they announced their split is that Bill had an arrangement with Melinda that allowed him to vacation every year at a beach cottage in North Carolina with the woman he was dating before he met her. But this is not something they ever hid from the public, and there’s no evidence they’re anything but friends.  And the “other woman” is married to the brother of actor KEVIN KLINE.

JOHN MAYER wrote a song for a fan to apologize for his behavior 16 years ago.  A guy named Brian Burns had tweeted a photo of his mom from 2005 being turned away from a photo op with John by his manager. John saw the tweet and felt bad about it, so he went on TikTok to do a special birthday song and apologize for the snub.

One of the biggest mysteries of “The Office” has been solved.  Remember when Jan conceived a child with a sperm donor while she was dating Michael?  Well, we never found out who the father was. ANGELA KINSEY and JENNA FISCHER have a podcast called “Office Ladies”, and they just revealed who the donor was . . . ANDY RODDICK.  In an early version of the script, Jan tells Michael and he says, “The tennis player?”  And Jan says, “Well, it’s a little more than that.  He’s the sixth-ranked player in the world, and he’s won four Grand Slams . . . and he’s a humanitarian . . . something with orphans.” Apparently, Jan expected Michael to be impressed, but he was upset. The writers may have made Andy the dad because he was a fan of the show . . . and he was friends with RAINN WILSON and had been to the set. It’s unclear why the scene didn’t end up making the cut.  Angela and Jenna aren’t even sure if Andy ever knew about it.

For an upcoming movie called “Stu”, MARK WAHLBERG has gained 20 pounds in three weeks, and he’s trying to pack on another 10.  How’s he doing it? He enlisted the help of a personal chef named Lawrence Duran, who’s feeding him 7,000 calories a day.  That’s three times more than the average American eats.  But Lawrence would like you to know that he’s not stuffing Mark’s face with junk. They’ve enlisted doctors and nutritionists to make sure Mark’s not killing himself.  And they’ve broken up those calories into EIGHT meals per day, which means he eats about every three hours. His day starts at around 3:00 A.M., and here’s how his meals break down:

  1. Four eggs, followed by a workout.
  2. Eight eggs, six strips of bacon, a cup of rice, two tablespoons of olive oil, and a protein shake.
  3. Some kind of ground beef or ground turkey, either in a burger patty or a meatloaf, plus another cup of rice.
  4. Half a roasted chicken, another cup of rice, a cup of cooked spinach and a cup of cooked beets.
  5. An eight-ounce veal chop or pork chop.
  6. A four-ounce piece of salmon, a cup of rice, olive oil, and beets.
  7. Eight ounces of some kind of steak, eight ounces of some kind of white fish, and tons of vegetables.
  8. The Nightcap: A mash consisting of one cup of cooked steel-cut oatmeal, two tablespoons of applesauce, two tablespoons of jelly or jam, two tablespoons of almond butter, and a tablespoon of molasses.

This one’s a “mass gainer” so he puts on weight in his sleep. He also has a cheat day over the weekend where he’ll hit up his favorite restaurant and have, quote, “pastas or pizzas or cookies.”

Honest Company went public yesterday . . . earning her NINE FIGURES in the process. The IPO raised $413 million . . . and Jessica owns more than 5.6 million shares.  Their stock was valued at $23 per share as of closing yesterday, so her shares are worth $130 MILLION. Jessica is the founder and chief creative officer of The Honest Company, which makes bath, body, baby, and cleaning products . . . supposedly without all the chemical garbage that other companies jam into theirs.

Remember when the pandemic started, and we all promised to use that extra time to get in shape . . . and then we didn’t?  CHRIS LANE remembers. He says “I have 100% taken on the dad bod at this point.  I should be in the best shape of my life, but being at home every night and having a wife that cooks, I’ve been eatin’, eatin’, eatin’, man.” In the good ole days he was always on the go . . . performing, traveling, doing radio interviews, but that all ended when the world shut down. “During this pandemic I go write [music] and sit in a room all day and keep eatin’ snack after snack after snack, so [it’s] been hard.” But a change is on the way.  He adds, quote, “My first show back is July 3rd and I’ve made a commitment and promise to myself by then I will be back in tour shape.”

Josh Duggar’s friends and family told law enforcement he’s dealing with a porn addiction … feds claim his computer was chock full of disturbing images. The “19 Kids and Counting” star appeared over Zoom for a court hearing Wednesday in his child pornography case. During the hearing, an agent from the Dept. of Homeland Security said Josh’s computer had more than 200 images involving naked minors and child sex abuse material. The agent said some of the children were as young as 5. The feds say witnesses, including friends and family, brought up Josh’s alleged addiction to porn in interviews with law enforcement. Josh is getting released from jail pending trial in his child porn case, but he’s not going home. The judge agrees Josh is not a flight risk, but says Duggar will not be sent to his residence. The judge turned Josh over to third-party custodians and Duggar will be fashioned with a GPS ankle monitor. Josh can’t have any contact with minors or possess any internet devices, but he can visit with his own minor children as long as their mother is there.

ERIC CHURCH pulled off a nifty trick.  He replaced himself at #1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart.  It happened when “Soul” knocked “Heart” from its perch. In fact, his three-album project is clogging up the Top 10 of that chart.  “Heart” sits at #9, the fan-club exclusive “&” is #3, and, of course, “Soul” is #1

GEORGE CLOONEY is doing one of those Omaze fundraisers, where you can donate to his charity for a chance to win a trip to Lake Como, Italy to hang out with him and his wife AMAL. He dropped the details in a video where he pretends that he got stuck at some regular guy’s house when stay-at-home orders hit last year.  George thinks they hit it off great, but the other guy is basically in HELL. He’s especially annoyed by George’s constant fangirling over BRAD PITT.
