During the filming of “Cocktail” back in 1987, TOM CRUISE saved ELISABETH SHUE’s life by tackling her as she was running toward the spinning rear rotor of a helicopter. At first she was mad at him, before realizing she almost died.
Fox is developing a “Flintstones” show, which is described as a “sequel” series. It’s called “Bedrock”, and it will be a primetime animated show targeted at ADULTS. The show will follow the Flintstone family two decades after the original, with Fred retiring and Pebbles now in her 20s, embarking on her own career.
ELIZABETH BANKS from “The Hunger Games” is onboard as a producer. She’ll also provide the voice of Pebbles. No other casting has been announced. 10 years ago, SETH MACFARLANE from “Family Guy” was working on a new “Flintstones” show, but it never got off the ground. Elizabeth has been developing this one for a few years . . . and it doesn’t sound related to Seth’s version. The original show ran for six seasons on ABC . . . and it was the first animated series to air in primetime.
Sean Lowe is the only “Bachelor” to marry the woman he chose on the show. Meanwhile, the “Bachelorette” has led to several marriages and/or lasting relationships. Why is that? A neuroscientist named Dr. Kristen Willeumier says, “Women are primed when we’re very young . . . We believe in fairy tales. We watched the Hallmark Channel, the romantic movies, you know, we’re already thinking about our weddings [at a young age]. Because of that, the Bachelorettes come into the show with a much clearer purpose and intent . . . and the men who are selected for them tend to be more ready to make a commitment. The women might also feel more pressure to make it work due to fears about social media backlash.
When you listen to LUKE BRYAN sing about “Bill Dance”, you can tell he means every word. The guy really is one of Luke’s heroes. He says, “I grew up loving bass fishing, watching Bill Dance every Saturday and Sunday on all the TV stations. He inspired me to be a great fisherman and I’m so happy for him to hear this song, and I’m so proud of this one.”
Kane Brown is one proud papa! The 27-year-old country singer couldn’t resist raving about the bond he shares with his 17 month old baby girl Kingsley Rose. He said “That’s my little girl, man. She’s my best friend.” But the “very beginning” of Kingsley’s life involved some “hurt” feelings as Kingsley “just wanted her mom, Katelyn, all the time.” She has come around to saying “Dada,” though, and loves playing with Kane outdoors now. “Every time I put her down she just keeps saying ‘Dada’ and [puts her arms up], so I can’t say no,”

Gabby Barrett and husband Cade welcomed their first child, Baylah May, in January, and Gabby just shared the sweet meaning behind her daughter’s unique name. Baylah May’s first name was actually inspired by her sister-in-law. “Cade’s sister’s name is Bailey Blane and I was just kind of trying to spin off of that because I like the name Bailey, but I wanted something that was a little more original,” she said. “I was in the airport just messing with it and I was like, ‘Bailey, Baylah,’ and I was like, ‘Oh, I like Baylah’ and I put it down in my notes.” Then Gabby took inspiration from her own family for her daughter’s middle name. “My sister was born in the month of May and so we did Baylah May,”
