The Cancel Brigade is coming after JIM CARREY, after he made a potentially sexist crack to a female reporter while promoting “Sonic the Hedgehog”. The woman’s name is Charlotte Long, and she asked Jim if there was anything left on his bucket list and he said, “Just you.” And now people are calling Jim sexist and sleazy and all kinds of other things . . . although others are defending him and wondering why people can’t take a joke anymore.

 

“Back to the Future: Part Two” promised we’d all be getting around in flying cars by 2015.  It didn’t happen.  Now we’re not sure it EVER will. According to a new survey, 7 out of 10 people say they no longer believe we’ll see flying cars in our lifetime.

 

SNOOP DOGG went on an ANGRY RANT against GAYLE KING after she brought up the rape accusation against KOBE BRYANT in an interview with Lisa Leslie. He even THREATENED her. Now he’s backing off, and admits that he blew it out of proportion.  In an Instagram video, he says, “Gayle King, I publicly tore you down by coming at you in a derogatory manner based off of emotions . . .”[I] overreacted.  Should’ve handled it way different than that.  I was raised way better than that . . . so I’d like to apologize to you publicly for the language that I used and calling you out . and just being disrespectful.”

 

There was a shooting yesterday in Yellow Springs, Ohio that left two people dead. And rumors started circulating that it went down at DAVE CHAPPELLE’s house. Dave does live in Yellow Springs, but about a mile away from where the shooting happened.  He had nothing to do with it.  Dave’s rep says he’s fine, and he’s touring in Europe right now.

 

According to a new poll, 22% of us want to see BRAD PITT and JENNIFER ANISTON get back together. But 27% of us want to see Brad back with ANGELINA JOLIE.

 

RICK MORANIS has signed on to do the upcoming “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids” reboot, “Shrunk”. This will be Rick’s first role in 24 YEARS.           –         Fox is working on a drama about a bunch of kids who do a shot-by-shot remake of “The Goonies” with the help of a substitute teacher.

 

THOMAS RHETT’s wife Lauren gave birth to a baby girl on Monday in Nashville. They named her Lennon Love.  This is their 3rd child.  Their daughter Ada James is 2 and their adopted daughter Willa Gray is 4.

SUGARLAND’s “There Goes the Neighborhood Tour 2020” will kick off June 4th in Toronto and make stops all over the U.S. before wrapping August 1st in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mary Chapin Carpenter, Tenille Townes, and Danielle Bradbery will open select dates. They’re also releasing a three-song EP on February 28th called “Bigger, Louder, Live”.  It features live versions of three songs from their “Bigger” album.  Those being “On a Roll”, “Bigger”, and “Babe”.

 

Dierks Bentley, Thomas Rhett, and Keith Urban will headline this year’s Watershed Music Festival. It’s going down July 31st through August 2nd in George, Washington.  Other performers include Jon Pardi, Kelsea Ballerini, Randy Houser, and Ashley McBryde.

 

I love it when a singer gives you a little something extra at a concert. LUKE COMBS and his boys tore through a cover of the country classic “Man of Constant Sorrow”.  They did it at a recent show in Peoria.
