SHAQUILLE O’NEAL isn’t taking KOBE BRYANT’s death well. He said, “I’m not doing well.  I’m sick.  I’m just getting over the death of my sister . . .I haven’t been sleeping . . . I haven’t eaten . . .I know some idiot’s gonna bring up the relationship me and Kobe had.  Our relationship is that of brothers . . . All the stuff that is documented between us, it was never a dislike.  This is what brothers do. I love Kobe Bryant.  I’m the first to say hey, I got four rings, I couldn’t have gotten three without him. We still are the best duo ever created, that’s never gonna change, but I wish we were 60 or 70 in the old folks home or on the show, we could talk about it . . . this is gonna hurt a long time.”

JUSTIN BIEBER was nervous about proposing to HAILEY BALDWIN, because he wasn’t sure he could be FAITHFUL to her. On “Ellen” yesterday, he said, “I think that was really what I was battling with. I finally was like, ‘I’m going to make the decision and follow through with it and be a husband. This is what I always wanted.  I’m going to just choose this woman and just do it.”  Meanwhile, Justin released a new song with KEHLANI.  It’s called “Get Me”.  It’s off his upcoming album “Changes”, which will be out on Valentine’s Day.

“Mean Girls” went from a movie to a stage musical and back to a movie. And now, “Matilda” is doing the same thing. Although technically, there’s ANOTHER step involved here.  Because “Matilda” actually started life as a novel by ROALD DAHL.  So it went from a book to a movie to a musical and back to a movie based on the musical. The book came out in 1988.  The movie followed in 1996, and starred Danny DeVito, Rhea Perlman and little Mara Wilson, who was also the youngest daughter in “Mrs. Doubtfire”. It was turned into a musical in 2010. The new movie will only have a theatrical run in the U.K., and when it comes here, it’ll go straight to Netflix.

BRANTLEY GILBERT’s 4-month-old daughter Braylen doesn’t know this yet, but her dad is going to make life very difficult for the poor boys who want to date her. He says a line will be drawn the very first time a kid comes to the house. “He’s going to come down the driveway and I will have my biker brothers line both sides of the driveway.  I’m just gonna explain to him, very nicely, that, ‘Look son, whatever you do to her, all of us are going to do to you.’ “And some of them boys, you know, been to prison, got experience.  So hopefully if he’s got half a brain, he’ll have her home on time, same way she left.”

It must be cool to have someone write a song about you. And then you get to hear that song, and hear that song, and keep hearing that song – until you don’t want to hear it again.  Ever. That’s what happened to DUSTIN LYNCH and his girlfriend Kelli Seymour.  He says she inspired some of the songs on “Tullahoma” but then she was around them for so long she got sick of the album before it even came out.

MILEY CYRUS and LIAM HEMSWORTH have finalized their divorce.

TYLER FARR got a big name to help out with his new song “Only Truck In Town”. It was produced by his buddy Jason Aldean.
