THE DAVE MATTHEWS BAND won the Rock Hall’s “fan vote” . . . but the fan vote only counts as ONE vote, and it’ll be tossed in with around 1,000 others from industry professionals.

 

JAKE OWEN hit up Twitter last week with a new song called “Alabama Hannah”. It’s about the “drama” between former “Bachelorette” HANNAH BROWN and this year’s “Bachelor” PETER WEBER. Hannah was on Monday’s episode and her name kept getting tossed around.  Jake wasn’t watching it, but his girlfriend was, and the chaos got stuck in his head.  Anyway, even though it sounds like a diss track, Hannah is cool with it.  She reTweeted the post and wrote, “Well, this is one way to get a song written about you.  This is some catchy shade.”

 

Meghan Markle reportedly has signed a deal with Disney in return for a donation to a wildlife charity. The U.K. newspaper The Times reported Markle would do a voiceover for an unspecified Disney project in exchange for a donation towards the conservation charity Elephants Without Borders. The deal was set ahead of Markle and Prince Harry announcing they are preparing to “step back” as senior members of Britain’s royal family.

 

BILL COWHER and JIMMY JOHNSON both found out on live TV this weekend that they’re going into the Football Hall of Fame. Patriots wide receiver JULIAN EDELMAN didn’t have anything else to do this weekend, so he went to Beverly Hills and jumped on the hood of a car – and got arrested for vandalism.

 

The lineup has been announced for this year’s “Rodeo Houston.” Headliners include Willie Nelson, Maren Morris, Chris Young, Kane Brown, Jon Pardi, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban, Chris Stapleton, Brad Paisley, and Luke Bryan. Some of the non-country performers include Gwen Stefani and Khalid This year’s event runs from March 3rd through March 22nd.

 

MARTINA MCBRIDE wrote a touching tribute to her mom, who passed away on Friday. She described her as “complex, amazing, strong, chic, and no-nonsense.”  The post was on Instagram and she included family photos.

 

A contestant on Canada’s version of “Family Feud” got it hilariously wrong when asked what Popeye’s favorite food is . . . but her mistake won her $10,000 in free fried chicken.

 

The “Golden Globes” have already tapped TINA FEY and AMY POEHLER to host next year’s show. It’ll be their fourth time.

 

The “Jeopardy! Greatest of All Time” shows are killing it in the ratings.

 

The movie about the first World War won this weekend’s box office. 1917 made $36.5 million in its first week in wide release.  Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker dropped to second place with earnings of $15 million.  Jumanji: The Next Level ($14 million), Like a Boss ($10 million) and Just Mercy ($10 million) round out the top five.
