BRANTLEY GILBERT has been riding motorcycles since he was a kid. He started out with dirt bikes, and by the time he was 18 he was riding in a motorcycle pack. His latest riding buddy is his two-year-old son Barrett, and the kid has already graduated to the big machines.  “I can sit him on the front seat with me and just kinda ride.  He’s got a little helmet and we just ride in circles. Our driveway’s a big circle and we’ll just ride around on it, and he absolutely just cheese-grins the whole time.  And then when you try to pull him off of it, he gets upset.”

If you watched “The Bachelor” last night you saw TENILLE ARTS perform her song “Somebody Like That”. No singer has performed on the show more than once, except Tenille.  It was her third time. Taste of Country asked her how she did it.  It started with her relentless manager who kept sending them her songs until someone got hooked. She says, “The producer just fell in love with my music.  A couple of the songs kind of sounded like I had written them for the show.  They were very love-specific, like meeting somebody and letting your walls down and everything.” The first song they chose was “Moment of Weakness” back in 2018.  And then in January of last year that had her back to do “I Hate This”.

SAM HUNT thinks “Sinning With You” can resonate with anyone who’s struggled with their faith. And that includes those in the LGBTQ community. “It’s important we think about these things and don’t accept rules because they’re rules.  We should try to understand the ‘whys’ behind the things we do, and the moral structure we apply to our lives.”

Riley Green’s “I Wish Grandpas Never Died” almost sounded completely different thanks to Brad Paisley. The song was a last minute addition onto Green’s album, Different ‘Round Here, because of fans’ responses to the song‚ but it wasn’t only fans who loved it. Brad, whom Green was on tour with at the time, also loved the track. “One really cool thing that kind of was a hint to me that it might be a big song was, Brad comes up to me one night after a show and asked me if I knew who Mike Trout was”. I said, ‘Yeah, the baseball player?’ He said, ‘Well, he sent me a text message and asked if you had a recorded version of this song ‘Grandpas’ ’cause he’s tired of watching it on YouTube. I guess that’s when Brad heard the song for the first time.” He loved it and “threatened” to write a song in the same vein.” Brad was such a fan of the song, he posted a video of him singing it on Instagram.

The Kiernan family has owned the Mustang that Steve McQueen drove in the 1968 movie Bullitt since 1974. The car was kept safe on the family’s farm in a barn for more than 45 years.  Now, the car is up for auction and some experts estimate it could go for $4.5 million.  Sean Kiernan said, “I don’t need to sell this car.  I am OK with any price.  But I would like it to be the most valuable Mustang ever.”
