Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin has been tapped by Happy Socks for a line of footwear. Culkin said, “Christmas is my time of year.  I get recognized 10 times more between the months of November and January.  I have no idea why.”  Three patterns of socks are available: a holly pattern, a bunny holding a candy cane pattern, and a larger bunny pattern.

 

REBA MCENTIRE and her boyfriend Skeeter Lasuzzo parted ways some 6 months ago. An insider said the couple had broken up, and it was because her busy schedule “didn’t mesh” with his way of life, which is the life of a retired guy. “Us Weekly” asked Reba if she and Skeeter were planning to spend the holidays together. She said, “Skeeter and I broke up in May, so, unfortunately, we will not be spending that time together. We still talk and we’re friends, but just decided to go our separate ways.” It was only a month before the breakup that she was talking about them being “totally in love.”  They dated for two years.  Reba is 64 and has been married twice.

 

JASON ALDEAN’s Kitchen and Rooftop Bar in Nashville is being accused of racial profiling. It started when a woman hit up social media to say that her husband wasn’t allowed into the place last Friday because he was wearing a hoodie. And when he offered to remove it, they still wouldn’t let him in.  She’s white and her husband is black. Once the story got back to Jason’s restaurant group they got to work.  They released a statement saying they’re “horrified” by the allegations, that they’re investigating it, and will take whatever action is necessary.

 

KRIS KRISTOFFERSON is the recipient of this year’s CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award. Unfortunately, he won’t be at next week’s show, but Dierks Bentley, Sheryl Crow, Chris Janson, and John Osborne will help honor him. They’ll be performing his classic, “Me and Bobby McGee”.  Previous recipients of the award include Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Kenny Rogers, and, obviously, Willie Nelson.

 

Richard Gere and Alejandra Silva are going to be parents once more. The actor, 70, and his wife, 36, are expecting their second child together. News of her pregnancy comes nine months after she gave birth to their first child, a son named Alexander, in February.

 

“Live at the Opry” released video of THE BACON BROTHERS performing “The Way We Love”. There’s a lot MICHAEL BACON playing guitar and singing . . . and a good amount of KEVIN BACON on backing vocals and harmonica.  It’s from their Opry appearance last month.

 

The founder of Spanx was the successful bidder for the skintight satin pants Olivia Newton-John wore in the movie Grease. Sara Blakely plans to frame the pants and hang them at Spanx’s headquarters in Atlanta because they inspired the company’s black faux-leather leggings. Blakely bid $162,500 for the pants, which Newton-John had to be sewn into for the 1978 film. Oliva sang at Blakely’s wedding and is excited Blakley purchased them. The leather jacket that Sandy, brought $243,200 so the total for the outfit to $405,700. The proceeds from the jacket and pants, as well as a portion of the other items sold, will go the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre in Australia.

 

CARLY PEARCE announced on social media that her self-titled second album will be out on Valentine’s Day. She’s dedicating it to her producer, Busbee, who passed away in September.
